It would be great if I could send out mails to certain members of my faction instead of having to send out mails to EVERYONE in the faction. Sometimes I just want to send a mail out to 10 members. So I either send it out to EVERYONE OR I have to send out 1 mail to each member. It would be nice to have the option of who the mail goes to.
I know there's been a lot of complaints about the scoring system and server lags and wasted time, energy and money.
I'm a relative new player (under a year old) and I'm a relative old player (mid 40's in age) I'm in a small faction that I like and most of the members are active and chat a bit every day and I've become friendly with one player not in my faction. I had no idea which group to join, but this friend said he joined Mountain Men so I joined as well.
I have a life outside this game so its not very crucial that I win or become the strongest player ever. I enjoy trying to get all the merits so I waste a lot of E on stupid things like dump searches, but I don't care...its still fun and as a subscriber its worth the small amount of money to log in a few times every day.
So the best part has been the Mountain Men chat room and being part of a bigger team. When we were not eliminated on the first day, but it was sooooooo close. It felt great to type f**k Yeah!! we did it!!! in the chat room and have so many other members also so happy. Since the competition started its been fun to read the forums about strategy...read about double crosses and fake alliances...its a tiny bit like real war. Even though a lot of people have complained, this is the most fun I've had playing Torn!!
I've wasted a lot of E on attacking instead of training, but socially its been really fun to chat with people that I would never chat with because we don't have the time to see if we have anything in common, but being in Mountain Men we have something in common right away. I really hope the other gangs have similar experiences and I know after we get knocked out I will miss the competition.
Is it possible in the lottery section to just enter the number of tickets we want for the daily or weekly or monthly contests instead of clicking the buy button 75 times?
I don't think this is a record or anything, but I feel great to finally finishing all the courses and I can finally move my merits around. It took me 1,620 days to finish them. Never worked in a company to reduce education time so I think its pretty good.
Everyone Torn, please keep safe....I've had many friends get the virus and a few have passed unfortunately so be careful....
