Ok, so I know sometimes it can be a burden to have like 3 different chats up at once, but what if you could have groups?

Instead of talking to each individual person about the same things, don't you think group chats would be more effective?

I'm new to this game (started last night) I just wanted to say that the developer of this game did a REALLY good job.
I think the game is very well put together, and overall is better than any game i've played like this.
From what I understand, the player base is really nice and tries their best to help those in need.


If any of you Torn City Veterans have any advice for me, just tell me.

I found Torn one night when I was just searching up random games because I was bored!
Some guy pmed me on one of the games I found almost instantly and told me to sign up for Torn!

Anyways, I would like to know how some of the older players found Torn, if they can remember.

So really, this thread is just to test your memory and for me to find out some interesting background knowledge about you guys.

Ok, I know some of the guys that are reading this will end up not taking me seriously because I'm a noob my self, but I just wanted to make a thread for a little help, if any to some noobies like me! So, I hope this helps! :)


So, the first thing you want to do is probably, unless you know an easier way to get $20,000,000 and Donator Status, is Torn Lite.

Torn Lite: A small Facebook application that can be easily completed if you have 100 friends on facebook.

My way of doing it:

1. Open/go to Torn Lite
2. Make your account (dont remember if its required or not)
3. Go to invite friends, and invite 100 friends.
4. Spend points to make your nerve bar maxed.
5. Do as many easy crimes as possible into level 5
6. Input your Torn ID, then boom, go to Torn and receive your rewards.

This process only took me about 3 hours total, but thats only because I had to make a fake Facebook account in order to do this and it took a while to get to 100 friends.


If you want to get your stats up and get to level 15 really fast, I recommend looking at Hanks Guide to Power Leveling to Level 15

Level 15 is really important because you get the ability to fly to different countries and make tons of money, easily!


**NOTE** Please, for the sake of your Torn City life and enjoyment, do not beg for items/money from other players! This will either cause your enemies list to suddenly go up a huge amount, constant bounties, or worst case scenario, both! **NOTE**


MAKING MONEY!

Personally, I think slutting (Attacking higher players and losing for money) is a waste of time and energy.
Honestly, the energy, in my opinion could be used in a more efficient way by using it to train your stats in the gym.
BUT, that's just me! It can be good "short-term" money, but you have to remember, Torn is a "long-term" game, meaning it never ends, until you decide you want to quit.

An easier way to stat is buying cheap items (Bricks, Beer, plushies) from Bits n Bobs in multiples of 100 as you can only buy 100 items from the Torn stores per day.

You can easily buy bricks for around $5 a piece, times 100, equals $500.
Then, you could advertise that you are selling the items in Trade Chat and sell them for $500-$650 PER brick!

Make sure not to have tons of cash on you when advertising in Trade Chat, this will cause many muggers to come your way, seeking the cash that you were dumb enough to carry around!

When you have around $500-600k, i recommend buying/selling cheaper items such as medical supplies (Morphine, First Aid kits, etc.) IF you do this correctly, you can make around $1,000,000 worth of profits a day.

CRIMES!
To be honest, I don't know much about the nerve bar and how crimes work.
I do know, however, that it's best to start out with the simple crimes and work your way up to the harder crimes.
This will help you gain crime experience, making it easier to do the harder crimes, and it will increase your nerve bar along the way!

RACING
Racing is a feature in Torn that allows any player, no age or level requirements to well, race!
The catch is that you need to be able to afford 50 points.
50 points should cost you about $3,400,000. So if you can afford it then this is the guide for you.

How to obtain racing license:
1. Purchase 50 points from the Points Market. (Points can also be obtained by purchasing a donator pack and using it, becoming a subscriber, or referring a friend to Torn)
2. Go to the points building
3. The Racing License should look something like this. Except it wont say owned.

4. Enter the Racetrack


Once you own a racing license, all thats needed is to do some races. I recommend doing Official Events races.
These will increase your driver skill and if you come in at least 3rd place, you will get racing points.

Racing points are used to upgrade your car.

From what I've been hearing from all the players that have been around for a while, Torn used to be WAY different.

I've heard there were dog fights, and that it was harder to make money.

So, what I would like to know is do you think Torn has changed for the better or worse? And why?

But thats basically a free 500mil. You could sell the pi back to system for somewhere like 400-475mil (dont know the price so may be wrong.)

True, but also, some people like to be their own independent player so they will buy their own instead of marrying into one.

Also, I doubt the system gets much business from anyone accept some of the noobs wasting money on worthless properties like trailers, apartments, etc.

I do see your point though as many people already have them or can rent them for relatively cheap.

I play Royale a lot! Im in USA so just got it the other day. Already lvl 7! Haven't been pushing for more troops so still only arena 3 and sometimes i let the lower levels win on purpose.
