In my experience, not just on TORN but every community, Politics is the biggest divider and "enemy causer". A lot of communities have banned discussion of it outright.
I take nootropics. Some of them counter caffeine withdrawl whilst potentiating the "high". I spend about $1k a month on them, and having been taking them around 4 years I have narrowed down what works (for me) and what doesn't. It also revealed deficiencies, such as (for me) choline deficiency. I "cured" about 80% of my problems from supplementing choline, which is naturally found in eggs, which I don't eat as they make me puke. If you get brainfog, try choline. If you get anxiety from caffeine try l-theanine or try switching to green tea. Nootropics that work for me might not work for you, it's a trial/error thing. Caffeine is a nootropic.
Also a good 70% of supplements/nootropic industry is fake or tainted or doesn't include the amount of supplement they say it does. Sadly this includes the brands; Life Extension, Jarrow, Solgar, NewU, Walmart, etc. I found this out by paying for testing. The only company I have found that is legit is Nootropics Depot; but being US company and me being UK, it costs me a lot in delivery and postage. Only DHL Express actually turns up and even then it can go missing.
Sugar is a real killer however so I try and cut that out as much as possible. There's a theory that different people who's ancestors come from different parts of the planet should eat different diets. For example I'm from the UK and my ancestors are pretty much from the NW england / wales for as far as I can trace. If I just eat meat + veg I get no problems. If I start eating say, bananas, I get potassium imbalances. Bananas never existed in England, so my ancestory lineage never evolved to include them. Sugar as we generally consume it is totally synthetic. None of us will have evolved for it.
I got 0 friends and 5 enemies. It doesn't bother me but I would be interested to see who the 5 are.
There's people I consider "friends" on here that aren't on the list but I'm personally an incredibly private and solitudual person so I don't really do the whole "friend" thing. I care about certain people but don't really want them to care about me. In fact the few times someone has gone out of their way to do something for me for no reason I actually physically cringe. My therapist(s) haven't given me any answers as to why this is so I just deal with it myself by keeping distances.
tldr lack of people in friends list doesn't mean lack of friends. I bet those 5 people have never even spoken to me.
