Ban would have to be temporary, in case that someone wanted to change their behavior (or maybe that someone has a split personality or had a really hard last year, cat cheated on her/him, dog wants divorce and fish died).

Or maybe something else. If one gathers over 1/2/3 hundred downvotes in a week (or negative total value of votes), he/she would get automaticly forum (posting, answering..) ban for next seven days.
But I think that even with this there should be exceptions, like he/she still could write in 'bugs & issues' section.

Now I am going back to drinking.

Thing is, I am a lazy bum (hence, way of a druggie aint for me). I have SSL avaiable for some time now, but since I still haven't finished 50 drugs merits, I didn't buy its membership, just because I was not sure if one can use those drugs safely (minding the limit) after joining SSL.

I tried looking for a clear answer, but without success. I do know that Wiki says, we are allowed to take no more than 150 of them combined, which should mean, that it is safe to take 'em after getting SSL's membership, but I would feel better having someone to blame in case of wasting fake and virtual money. ;)

DP price is not based only on supply and demand.

Lowest price is set by how much NPC will pay for it. Chedburn took care of his and donators wallets.

If @OP would like to change DPs price, he/she should ask Ched about increasing the price which NPC is paying for it.

If NPC would pay 26m/30m/50, noone* would sell it for less. (But consider inflation on rest of goods and how much new-non donating players would be willing to struggle.)

That is not capitalism (for players).

I was looking for high quality weapons in Item Market and came across this:

As You can see, this particular piece, is missing some of its info, like damage, accuracy, etc. Info obout other Flare Guns (and any other weapons I saw) were fine.

It occurs in Torn app, Chrome (mobile), Firefox (mobile).

I did not check if this happens in PC version.

From time to time You could go to city Jail, and fail to bust someone (so You would get jailed Yourself) that way You will reset Your 'arrest value' (as all jailing times does that), while not decreasing Your crime experience.

Also, jail time from failed bust is usually shorter than from being arrested.

I just checked in Chrome and DuckDuckGo mobile browsers. It happens on both.

So for now it (swapped icons and for all places partially cut/covered Stealth icon) appears on:
- Your program for Android;
- Firefox (mobile);
- Chrome (mobile);
- DuckDuckGo (mobile).

As I wrote in first post, I am unable to check if it occurs in PC.

I saw this happening in: Android App v0.3.8 / Firefox (mobile). I don't have laptop at hand to check how it looks like for PC version.

Today I was looking for a new Frying Pan and saw something interesting.

This is how 'item properties icons' look like in the item info window (at last some of them):

Like stealth (( )) icon, etc.
(Off topic: Stealth icon has its right side cut off.)

But when I pressed "View all 230 listings for Frying Pan";

then pressed 'shopping cart' icon on the right side, so that a question: "Are you sure you want to buy (...)" will show up
and next selected 'eye icon' (which is just beside 'shopping cart' icon) so that I could see item describtion/info window, I saw that those icons (from first screen) were swapped with each other:

As You can see instead of 'damage icon', there is one from rate of fire, accuracy was repleaced with 'damage icon', while quality icons was repleaced with 'accuracy icon' and is crossed with a line.

This also happens for Armors and Guns:

This happens:
- only in Item Market, for items sold there (not for items in bazzars),
- only after choosing "View all XXX listings for XXX weapon/armor Item";
- only if 'shopping cart icon' was pressed before 'eye icon'.

That is it.

1) Is there a point of having higher number of shares than requied for a bonus (other than dividend bonus)?

Example: Medical stock requies 150'000 shares. If one had 450'000 shares stacked, whould there be any difference?

2) Will 2nd stack of same shares bring 2nd bonus?

Example: if one had three stacks with 150'000 shares each, would he get a chance for triple reward?

Actually finding a way to cheat in a game is quite satisfying. After it is done ... game usually becomes boring.
That's why, at last for me, doing it in torn would be a killjoy.
Hmm.. I suppose some ppl could get hyped on thought of their character getting stronger (or whatever) even w/o them. But for me it is like letting someone else do Your girl or at best being impotent so she takes care of herself (Athrin, Your statement of having no balls may be valid... ;) ). Maybe I see it that way because I do not care about chaining, flying or timing xanax overdosement.

Anyway, emotions are similar like when playing hide and seek (i loved it as a kid) or ... bank robbery - never tried, but it should be similar, just more extreme.

One side is finding out how things are encrypted, then understanding used code and lastly changing it the way one wants.
Other side (which is almost only experienced in on-line games) is staying undetected. For games with highly repetitive gameplay like torn, most important thing would be to keep actions randomized in time and possibly even in quantity, monitoting ping, human reaction time, etc.

I have though for a long time now about how to make a program which would work based on what happens on the screen and not on a code/memory. That, if made well, would be undetected, because even if one assumed that other is cheating, there would be virtually no way to proove it (other than checking his/her device or asking for admission of guilt). Anyway, making such a thing is too time... and brain consuming to be used for games w/o good profit (selling it usually would destroy whole game very fast).
Altho it is possible that someone is waaaay smarter than me and is able to make it (or something else) faster and/or with less effort.

If a few ppl were to collect most dongs (the more, the better for successful swindle) in their hands, then make a post stating that, and one after another agreeing and confirming it, dongs price would grow greatly.

For a short time they could sell it with a very high profit.

This is what I meant.
Since soft cap on battle stats exist (altho I am not sure if it would not be the same w/o soft cap... ), SE will eventually give more battle stats than a Xanax pills bought with the same amount of Thorn dollars.

Given the price of Xanax and rehab, when does SE start to be more profitable?

I would much more like to pop an se once in a while, than constantly eating Xs and rehabing.
