Amidst all the controversy surrounding the new marketplace 2.0 update, or downgrade as many would say. I have a simple yet effective remedy to the situation that personally I think was overlooked as an avenue in the first place.

I think we should revert back to Market Place 1.0 and instead remove the 3 cheapest bazaars limit when viewing an item, allowing players to view any bazaars containing said item.

I feel that this small change would carry zero negatives and only positives in regards to market place functionality, as well as benefiting both sellers and consumers, since anyone can find your bazaar by scrolling the item page and it reduces the amount of forum posts/bumps sellers need to use in order to be efficient in their trading. 

Don't get me wrong, I think there are positives to the new market, such as being able to search for bonuses, however I do not think the change was net positive. I believe that even though my suggestion does not allow players as much customization to their search, it still allows them to accomplish the exact same thing with slightly more effort than the new system, but a million times LESS effort than when it was locked at 3 bazaars.

Big changes have their place in games, but every single change doesn't need to be groundbreaking. The saying "if it isn't broken, don't fix it" applies here. I love people taking the time to put in effort for a game they love, but sometimes less really is more, and you can get maximim benefit through minimal effort and there is nothing wrong with that. Not to mention, a tweak such as this would require little to no additional patching moving forward where the new system is already buggy for me on mobile and will obviously require more fine tuning.

This dream that Ched has about the economy in Torn seems for lack of a better word, foolish. Separating bazaars and market place ultimately makes no sense when you can sell the same items on either of them. The only way this would make any sense to me, is if only certain items could be sold on market place vs in a bazaar.

That leads to my secondary suggestion, if by chance people think my first suggestion is terrible and the overwhelming majority want to keep the new system, then I suggest we find a way to separate items into different classes of sort. Essentially, making it so certain items can only be sold in a bazaar and vise versa certain items can only be sold on the market place. This would make both parties happy I think, because it allows bazaars to maintain value that can't be attained elsewhere and people don't feel they have been cheated out of purchasing one.

An honorable mention; it's been brought up that keeping the new system but adding back the bazaars is another potential option as well and I would agree with this. Even if we did this and kept the previous rule of cheapest 3 bazaars I would gladly take it over nothing.

Another thing I've seen mentioned is incorporating some system of buy orders and I think this could be a VERY promising addition to the market as well; for example placing an order in the market place for 300 Rudolph cans and it allows you to basically use a slider or some input to select the value you wish to pay per item, then you would deposit the money to the order in advance and essentially allow it to work for you. Sellers would be able to find your buy order and if they agree to the price you have listed, deposit some or all of the requested items, get their payment and carry on. this would be a fresh idea that could breathe some life back into the trading scene. Great ideas everyone!

I'm convinced every player just has a window where the game decides they have the best hand when giving cards out. And the only way to win outside that is by beating the players not the hand. 

I'll usually have times when I'm hot and feel I'm in control of the table, but when that tide shifts, it shifts hard and I've realized I'm better off taking a break because I'll usually try and play through it only to be cucked by some river rat and lose big, and the longer you try to play through it the more on tilt you get.

Some days just feel like bad gamba days in general, drug packs screw you, caches are all junk, etc. 

Did you ask them to show you their butthole? I've heard that is a top tier de-escalation tool. 

I would assume that this requires more than posting chat logs between you and someone else to constitute a violation.

If the logs contained information that could be used to link your handle to your real information that's one thing.

The way it sits, there is no additional info provided that would get any person closer to finding out who you are than simply seeing your name in game.

If you're arguing that he posted this info in an attempt to rile people up enough to dig deeper to find him, I don't see that being the case because he has the power to just find that out without the community.

The person behind the screen is not in any sort of danger due to this post, nor does it open any doors to allow people to find out who he is, nor does it invite people to attempt it.

If you want to fight AI, go after it being used in cameras because that actually harms people. If artists are losing money to AI designers, that sounds like a personal issue that they want everyone else to get behind because they need job security. Not our problem. Make better art faster and cheaper and maybe people wouldn't resort to using the terminator instead.
