Just came across this, figured I'd share the link.
I'm currently in the middle of doing a youtube serious on getting to the warp drive in interstellar extended on career mode quickly. So I figured I'd start a thread here answering questions about the game for anyone who has them.
I'm over 150M in defense and dex but i havent been awarded either honor yet, can someone look into it for me?
I think the HEG would be alot more useful if it had atleast a one turn concussion effect, instead of basically just being an extra shot from your primary. Opinions?

Can someone explain how (or why its not) possible?
The other side of the page has the deriving of that formula, but its complicated to get to this point. Its actually missing an entire term from the final formula but this seemed to be an essential step.

Actually using ftl technology can be a little tricky at first, but with good designs and a little practice you can get pretty close to the capabilities of the ships on Star Trek. This set up would have no problem taking E.T. home!

I HIGHLY recommend watching every video on the PBS Space Time channel, the playlist I linked is only a small portion. Watch it over and over till you get it, relativity gets complicated but they do a good job of explaining things.
