Hell, it could be even older than that, it is the oldest text found to date in any civilization.

Thus far we have been able to date back the first" organized" religion back to almost 12,000 years and that is Hinduism, Originally called Brahma and has a name change some where around the Time of Buddha. Ancient Egyptians were the last of the kind that practiced Animism which they have dated back to the caveman ERA and is STILL practiced today with all Organized Religions, it is the last remenants are our ancestral instinct.

Since I have obtained some knowledge in this area based on recent research on a new Tattoo concept so that i may be 100% accurate for religious belief aspect considering it will be permanent. Christian religion is just a bunch of snippets of other religions brought together under one name. Christmas, is the day that was picked by some pope in, i think in the 4th century for it to fall on the same day the Roman holiday of Saturnalia. Christianity in it's entire is just an evolution of one of the oldest recorded beliefs known, Sumerian. Meso Sumerian, Akaddin Sumerian, Yahwism, Ancient Judaism, Modern Judaism, and then Christianity. Christianity started out as poly and turned into Monotheistic in the last 5 thousand years. Hinduism(Originally named Braham) is the 2nd oldest 3rd oldest is Norse(relics dating back to 4,000 B.C. have been found, even though it was recorded in 900 A.D to preserve the history). The oldest and which was practiced by the Egyptians is Animism. As for myself, I follow the 4 oldest polytheistic, Animism, Hindu, Norse, Sumerian. So, stop getting y'alls panties in a wad over something completely futile for you FIVE SECONDS of fame.
