As a result, the transaction processed twice. I now have a negative balance of cash. If players were to exploit this, they could purchase bonus stocks. I also have no idea what will happen if I'm mugged with negative cash.

I am encountering a similar problem. My factionmate was posting items for $1, and most were locked and I was unable to purchase. I listed a xanax in my own bazaar for $1 to see if I could replicate the issue. The Xanax is locked and now I cannot remove it because my "manage items" screen is blank.
