The inactive playstyle has been shit on update after update, auto-kick from NPC jobs, required claiming of dividends, and now refill nerfs. I don't want to spend hours playing torn every day, turn on alarms on my phone/browser every 2 f**king hours like some no-life nerd. Not to mention scripts have been greenlit sitewide, so its either join the script kiddies or get f**ked over by people essentially cheating at the game.
I'm done with this game, I've no interest in playing with cheaters and self-fulfilling asshats. 7/8 of the people I've successfully referred to this game have quit in a day, and it's no wonder.

In good fashion, an update rolled out 2 weeks ago to limit refill usage to 100 "per week" to screw me over.
I had 307 and now am down to 207 and am limited from using more during this 99k jump (because I used halloween basket upgrade and dumped).
Now I'm worried I wont be able to do the SECOND jump i planned on diabetes day in 6 days. When does the "per week" reset? There's no indication or timer anything when i try to use a refill now it just says "f**k you you cant use more than 100 per week".
Bookie closed on me 4-5 hours early, and i was unable to change bets.
I can't see anywhere that lists that bookies close X hours before they do, and it appears this is something that's happened before.
So, wholeheartedly, you guys need to disclaim that bookie is ****ed and/or locks out bets sooner than it actually says it does, or FIX it.
I'm not going to ask for my money back, because I doubted that I'd lose such a high odd bet in the first place (which is why I put it on the highest odd bet in case i forget it, which i DIDN'T).
You could make the bank act like a normal ****ing bank instead of locking the ability to have a vault behind a billion dollar paywall (or huge happiness loss from staying in a castle/palace, or jumping through hoops and having to stay staffless or fire them every day which afaik doesn't even work).
As far as I care bookie withdrawals are an exploit, an exploit that practically EVERYONE uses because normal banking mechanics are broken as **** in this game. Borderline quitting (again). It's been 4 years of updates and all I see are people still getting cheated by the system one way or another, instead of other players which is how the game SHOULD be played.

Why? Whats the reasoning behind this? Now whenever you refill (every single day) it's an extra page-refresh to spend your energy. It just makes it slower and, since I can't think of any good reasons it was changed, is entirely unnecessary....
It's like a quality of life upgrade that does the opposite :s

It's not income, its expenditure, I'm trying to get rid of them so i can use refills again like a normal player... I planned months to use them and now i get f**ked over by some bullshit update that isn't even meant to affect me. Though, I'm no stranger to getting f**ked over by arbitrary updates since that's why I quit 5 years ago and why I have 300 refills in the first place. Now I'm forced to save them even longer to use during events, which is what the limit was added to prevent people from doing...

just curious how diabetes day 99k jumps work? Is the book multiplier multiplicative with the 3x from diabetes day, or only additive? What about the faction bonus? Multiplicative or additive? If it's additive I'm only coming up with around 60k happy from spamming 49 pixie sticks or equilivent? I mean, that would still work, but I just don't know how the book ends up being calculated... Also, my stats are still sub-1mil so I think I'll cave and get the book anyways...its only gonna be worth even less later, so might as well use it now.
I can't really commit to it since I'm just sitting on 300 refills until i figure out how to get multiple 99k jumps available to spend them on... It's kind of a pain in the ass having refills in the first place since I've no interest in joining a 10*AN like....ever--but i'd be pitching hundreds of million of $ worth of stat gain if I don't; so, I guess I just wont have energy refills anymore...
Not sure how I'd bother using it, or what it's relative value would be... Like, I don't even bother using big boxes of chocolate over normal candy, though maybe now I should be since I can afford them.
I'd say i get about 50% of missions done nowadays since most targets are too high for me now. I have 1600pts total. Should I just pass on this book? Or get it anyways because of how cheap it is? Would be my first book.
Don't know what kind of faction I want. Very active. Independent.
Open to being a merc. for fat payouts, or just padding stats, or even just friendly communities if people vibe well. Don't take it personally if I don't settle before trying a few places.

My stats are too low even for many of the targets in hard missions, so I'll wait until I'm better off before starting very hard missions. Thanks anyways though :)
I couldn't care less about the respect loss, I was in over my head when I started hard contracts, so I'll give it awhile before doing very hard contracts.
It won't just reappear instantly will it? I could use the extra mission slot...
One was likely a travel-page that got self-refreshed after landing, another was definitely bookie...
I'll have to pay closer attention the next time it happens to me, so I can actually let you know what pages I have :s until then, I'll just wait until it happens again..
