I have finally reached my 666th post and this will be the last thing I say on torn forums.... anyhow keep reading :) and bear with me please because this post is a little long but worthwhile I say :)

Hamas fights Israel by hiding amongst civilians.

It isn't humane but Israel fights Hamas by killing the terrorists along with the civilians the terrorists hide with.

It is unfortunate Hamas has no regard for Palestinians. It is impossible to point a finger at Israel for attrocities without pointing a finger at Hamas too.

Being Muslim obviously doesn't mean you are going to follow a radicalized version of Islam fundamentalists and terrorists preach.

Sure, Islam was certainly not meant to be a weapon but the problem is a lot fundamentalist or radicalized Islamist groups have used the Qur'an as a basis to justify their actions. That is the problem. Why are women punished for not wearing a Hijab in Iran? It is because fundamentalists are able to use the book to justify their rules. ISIS used Islam to justify their violence. Isn't all this because there are certain verses in the book that when taken literally or twisted in some way, justify these things? They were able to do this despite Islamic scholars saying ISIS is not Islamic.

To me the verses that can be twisted or manipulated are the issue - and unfortunately, that extends to Islam.

I did not know about that Christian militia before. So clearly it can be seen that there are Christian terrorists too and it seems they are killing Muslims because they are a minority. But are they doing that based on their religion or based on their religious differences? Boko Haram on the other hand wants to create an Islamic sate with sharia law so they are more driven on religion it seems to me.

Are the Buddhists killing for their religion? No
Are Christians killing for their religion? No
Are Muslims killing for their religion? Yes

I don't see Jewish or Christian terrorist groups in Africa or Asia. But there are many radicalized Muslim groups.
