Just got fired from my previous company with no warning, figured it's time to finally aim for that 50% driving exp boost.

It's been a long road and still pales in comparison to the RS of the top guys, but racing is my favorite activity in Torn and I'm super happy that I was able to pull it off; and just in time for the far far longer road to 40.0!

Big shout out to Rogue who mentored me and helped me out through the past couple years (whether he remembers doing so or not :P ) as well as members of this community who have put out guides that helped me immensely during this process!

I just calculated out the number of races I entered by adding all my cars together, which is 657. Coincidentally, my driver skill is 6.57 as well.

 

Is this just a crazy coincidence? Or does your driver skill keep pace with the amount of races you enter at higher driver skills?

Like Khal, now forever known as Khal_the_Jerk, buy mugging low levels when he's level 76. Must be some kinda cellar dweller hung like a bull gerbil to have to resort to preying on the weak like that. Must be his mom couldn't afford to spend real life money on his donator pack that month. Spent too much on his Cheetos already...

Idk how the community will take this response, but before any fanboy wastes their time, money, and effort hitting me directly or with bounties, let me be clear: I really don't give much of a sh!t about this game lmao. Progression is so slow it's almost going backwards, I work full time, and there is many far more productive things I spend my time on, so any nerd who wants to try can feel free, but you can't bother me here, I stopped caring long ago. I'll say this for devs and staff, though: the lack of limits on these things is what is driving most players away. Coupled with the slower than death progression, it's easy to see why not many people jump to pay into this when a level 76 age 644d can trample a far younger level 20, which can lead to devastating losses for a lower level for something the financial equivalent of a duck fart on a pond for the older player. No pun intended, OP. I'm not saying outright ban mugging, but limits would probably improve the game, and it's possible less players would fully lose interest.

With that, I'm off to play something more fun. Free time for games is limited for those rare few still employed in the real world, because not everyone can hide from the scary covid propaganda monster. Hope this post can get something done. It's bad enough stock market changes made inactives useless for mugs, so now more are hitting actives. The retaliation for this should be fun. I can't wait to see all the notifications. I never keep cash on me, so I hope any butthurt fanboys enjoy the miniscule amounts they mug from me. Only one that ever got anything significant was a buy mugger, and honestly losing 10% of something I got absolutely free is more hilarious than anything. If we really want to make a change, we must show staff the negative impact of the lack of limits on this matter. Any more in game self made billionaires that just quit caring about the game, but once loved it? A year ago I was ready to spend USD $100 on this but that quickly got lol noped and redirected into the Sony. Might have been when I lost my HRG block I had just obtained prior to the stock changes.

Late to this thread but as a lifetime Milwaukee fan, Hank means so much to this city and the league as a whole. One of the greatest to ever play and has been a powerful role model for millions of young poc who grew up in the face of adversity. Hank is so much more than baseball.

Tom Brady in his 40s has 2 Super Bowl rings and an MVP. Brady will break the career passing yards record next season, he already holds the passing touchdown record. He'll probably make it to the pro bowl next season unless he falls off a cliff so he'll break the record for most pro bowls as well.

You could quite easily split his career into 3 and make a solid case for him going first ballot HoF for each. He is the undeniably the greatest quarterback of all time and quite frankly, I think he's surpassed Jerry Rice as the greatest football player of all time, I think he surpassed him quite awhile ago.

Is he the most talented to ever play? No, but he's certainly up there... and that doesn't matter when you're the greatest winner of all time. To come onto a brand new team and have to learn the playbook and develop chemistry with a new set of guys, most of whom weren't on the team the previous season... and to do all of that during a shortened and hectic offseason? Absolutely GOATed!
