For me chains gone, that's life and I'll move on. However, don't insult us by saying it was limited in scope or duration- torn held and event then the game promptly shit the bed and was only marginally playable for the duration. Performance did not recover to an acceptable level for multiple hours after the event.
Special events are by definition a big deal for Torn- when the experience is disappointing it really takes the shine off the whole game.
Consider doing a thorough postmortem and making sure it doesn't repeat when it comes time for elimination and dog-tags.
