Tri-color pembroke welsh corgis are also my favorite. I have one named Blaze. He has been my beloved companion for almost 11 years. While all doggos are good doggos, he is my personal favorite.
I tend to click best with herding breeds. Their main focus is protecting their herd and I can relate with that.
The #metoo movement hasn’t been great at mixing men into it. Howeve, I know some men who did post #metoo. I personally added #mentoo to all of my posts related to it. There is a new hashtag out that relates to men specifically. Sexual harassment does happen to everyone. Sexual harassment is not the appropriate way to hit on someone, You should also always be gauging how your interaction with people is going about. If you weren’t intending to demean or harass, make this clear to the person and explain your side. Listen to their response. Even if it was not intentional, it may be something that triggers them to a trauma. Be empathetic to that. Apologize and explain to them that you would like to do better. Lack of communication is what takes a comment that was not meant to harm, to someone getting fired. I will be the first to admit that I have personally seen women take something to personally in the work place. I have personally defended male co-workers who were struggling to find ways to get along with other female co-workers. “He was following me to my car talking to me.” “Did you consider that maybe he was genuinely interested in conversations with you? Not to mention it is considered polite to walk a woman to her car?” Don’t get too freaked out by the me too movement. For anyone who is truly a feminist, it does include men. And seriously, if you accidentally say something that sends someone off.... find a mediator and work it out.
for the point of the main post.... I’m single. I have met most of my exes through friends, though. Usually at a party. Probably not the best way to meet people, but we’ve had some good times thrown in with all the bad. I did meet someone on an app once. Not specifically a dating app, but social networking. I met one on a dating website. Absolute disaster, even though I loved him very much and hope he is doing well to this day, even though I hope I never see him again.
Is there a good way to meet someone or do we finally find someone that we are able to make it work with, despite all of the insanity?
I feel as though the only thing I would add to this, currently, is that mugging someone you found in the hospital for being mugged isn’t the most reliable. I get mugged relatively frequently and have yet to earn an actual million by myself.
Shout out to those who see a player struggling and help them out! I seriously would have given up on this game if it wasn’t for the kindness of some.
I learned to play by playing with someone who was good at it. His nickname in our club was literally pool guy, I’d go and hang out with him just to play pool. Definitely go to a pool hall and practices. You can do this by playing games with yourself, but also ask other players to play with you. Watch their form. Learn from them. Ask questions. Explain that you want to learn and get better. Some will mock you for this, but most will not because everyone has been there at one point or another.
Also, I highly recommend a beer before or during play. I don’t know why but it tends to loosen most players up and give them more confidence, resulting in better game play. Please disregard this bit of advice if you are underage, a recovering addict, or have a general issue with impulse control as you could easily become an addict to alcohol. =D
I can crochet. As much as I love it, I’ve probably finished 20 or slightly less projects. I want to learn tatting, but I don’t know anyone who does it. Out of curiosity, how did you learn. It may be a while before it get to it. I still have quite a few crochet and quilting projects I need to finish before ai start new ventures. *sigh*
