Here's an initial demo of Torn_CAT, a Chain Assistant Tool. It can keep track of multiple targets simultaneously, as well as find what your last respect earned against a target was.
Some of you know about this script already, but I wanted to share it again, just in case you didn't know. It adds a filter to the top of a playerlist (faction list, friends, enemies, hospital, and jail) that filters on status (revive mode, attack mode, hide idle/offline). An API key is NOT required for these filters.
The real winning feature (in my humble opinion) is the auto-refresh feature. It polls the page and will auto-update row contents based off API data. Stop spamming the F5 button and save it for refreshing the page on your hardware shipping notices from Newegg/ Microcenter! Entering an API key IS required for this feature.
It requires a browser extension called Tampermonkey to install (enter the url above into Tampermonkey's Utility page to install), so only desktop browsers and some select android browsers (like IceCatMobile) support this (sorry iOS users).
Would it be possible to add a key: value pair to api responses that returns the remaining number of calls left for that minute? The API knows when I hit the limit. I'd love to know for sure where I'm at during larger pulls to avoid maxing out.
It is difficult to scroll through the news ticker on mobile.
On desktop, there's plenty of room to click to advance the ticker to the next item, but on mobile, the tap target is small on a large-text linked news item that will advance to the next news item but not activate the href to jump to where the current news item links.
When most other icon statuses are changed, they move to the left (indicating a more recently modified).
When I increase or decrease the Duke loan amount, the loan icon does not move forward, but remains in the stack where it was. I would expect since the loan amount changed that the icon order would reflect it as well.
I do have set my icon order to "Recently changed first" in my settings.
I've often accidentally moved away from a page that had spy data and lost the numbers I just spent points on. Being able to find those again via the API would be nice.
[image: i.imgur.com] To reproduce: 1 Fly to another city and view any paginated People page (https://www.torn.com/index.php?page=people) 2 Attempt to revive someone
Expected result: Be presented with the % chance of revive.
Observed result: Only presented with an Okay/ Cancel prompt. (see above picture)
Notes:
I do see the % chance if I visit the hospital.
I've never failed a revive abroad from the people page, but my skill may be too high for me to actually have missed one. I'm not sure if the new revive is working abroad properly from this page.
Another alternative for the Android platform is IceCatMobile. It's a pure FOSS version of Firefox Extended Support Release (e.g. you can install desktop extensions in in beyond just the 10 or so the current version of Firefox Mobile allows). You can find IceCatMobile on F-Droid.
Tamper Monkey exists for Firefox as well (I personally user TM over GreaseMonkey)
Found that the parent faction to the one I was in was not liked much by the rest of Torn, and the main leader was doing some shady stuff to other factions.
Issue: Event action row buttons overflow incorrectly, causing the "Send Event" button to display incorrectly
Screenshot https://imgur.com/KmcPXnd
To reproduce:
You must be traveling for this bug to occur. Attempting to reproduce this bug while still at Torn will not work.
Have an event occur
Open the events page
Tap the "Check All" button
Expected result All events are selected and the action buttons remain in place.
Observed result All events are selected, but when the "Uncheck All" button replaces the "Check All" button, the "Send Event" button overflows as seen in the screenshot above.
You can use IceCatMobile as well, which is a FOSS version of Firefox. You can find the installer at FDroid (https://f-droid.org/en/packages/org.gnu.icecat/).
