Having just read this whole thread, what a ride. Amusing stuff. I think most of us agrees that OP deserves what is coming to him and that is mainly due to his own behavior. You knew the rules, you accepted them upon joining and you decided to show big fat zero respect for those rules. I cannot blame the faction for showing you that it is not OK.
But talking about those rules... Holy shit guys. Are you OK over there? Stacking 3 days early is nothing but plain stupid. The average xanax OD chance is what, around 2%? Imagine having 100 player faction full of people who actually follow that rule. You have almost 100 players sitting with full stack for two days doing nothing. No training, no attacking, you do nothing. Imagine all the wasted E there, with these 100 players. Wouldn't it be much more beneficial for the faction as a whole to start stacking the 32 hours before, which is the normal time you are able to pull out full stack with no Xanax effects left at the end of it? And those few players who might OD... Idk, buy cans for them as a faction or something, they can can it up and as a whole the faction is doing much better that way? The value of the lost E what is lost when all 100 players stay stacked for no reason is worth much much more than those few cans needed in the OD situation.
The xanax tax is also pure idiocy. Honestly what I am supposed to do with my 10e if I just need to go to sleep and have 10e left? I cannot use it at gym to train? So... I just need to let it be and go to waste? Or should I use it at church praying for good war success for our faction or what is the deal?
To me it just seems like the leaders of B3 have absolutely 0% trust for their members doing the right thing, hence everything needs to be managed and forced like in Germany during the 40s. I would never be in such faction. But happy to see you can find noobs who want to be, and hurt their own growth by accepting these rules. You do you. The biggest winners here are the owners and leaders of B3, its not their fault if there are enough people who are willing to do this.

I voted no because I am already voting with my wallet - meaning that I have already cancelled my subscription well over a year ago. I cancelled it because of the chat update, but really that was just the nail on the coffin. I had thought about unsubscribing before that already, exactly for the reason you are speaking about; I felt like I was not seeing my money's worth. I can't understand how I've been here 6 years, paid monthly subscription for 4-5 of those years, player base is growing (and so is subscriber numbers with it) - and yet every single event I've played during all my years here have always caused server issues, massive lag, site crashes etc at launch. So all these years of giving Chedburn my money didn't fix any real issues with the game. I witnessed it first hand by experiencing it and finally realized that there is no point paying for a shitty service.
Would rising get me to subscribe again? Most definitely not.
Why deft's name is capitalized in the item name? I mean other keepsakes have the players name stylized as they have it in the game themselves; bogie with small 'b', 'someone' with small 's', 'DeKleineKobini' with 'DKK' capitalized...
So why deft's name in the keepsake is capitalized when in the game its all small letters just like bogie or someone? Yes I have OCD and yes it bothers me.

Hemi's story resonated well with me, I think that I've had somewhat similar 'progession curve' with this game. I've never been one to set alarms for the middle of the night, but apart from that I did play quite hardcore for many years in the beginning. Or at least that is what it feels to me like now, I am sure there was always more hardcore players than I ever was. But when you compare my early years to how I play now, I was definitely playing much more seriously and compared to that right now I feel like a casual player.
In the first ~six months of playing this game I dropped around $1k on donator packs to get the blue name and kickstart my Torn career. I used these donator pack funds to buy my Private Island and use boosters from very early on. However, I soon found poker here and started making my money there ever since. That is also when I completely stopped buying donator packs as it just didn't seem worth it to me anymore when I could make easy money for free at the tables. Now years later my total poker profit is well over 100b; buying that much cash in donator packs wouldn't even be feasible for me. I am not poor, but not that rich either.
Anyway, after I found poker and started making money there I was also able to accelerate my growth a lot with this newfound way of making money. I kept pushing my goals; first I wanted to earn 25b to buy myself a GAK. I always pushed my stats further, kept my booster CD full training with cans and wanted to climb up the leaderboards when it comes to battle stats. I took a serious approach to the game, wanting to succeed and become what I would consider a strong player myself. Someone with billions of stats.
However, after years passed and I started to reach those goals I set for myself my motivation clearly diminished a bit as well. I reached top 250 in battle stats, got my GAK, got everything I had initially dreamed of in this game as a noob. Then came some of the controversial updates such as Chat 2.0, which completely broke the chat system for me for months. At that point I was pretty fed up with the game, cancelled my subscription and went on a bit of a hiatus - playing very casually and even missing complete days of Torn. I realized that missing a day or two isn't a big deal, I still have everything I have achieved and I still keep growing. I realized that even though I would play as hardcore as I can, I will never be in the top 10. I felt like I have already pushed myself to where it is "easy enough" to push myself. Growing at the same pace from here upwards just wouldn't be possible without really hardcore attitude and that was simply something I didn't have for this game anymore.
And that is how I like it nowadays. I feel like I am in a good position in the game and I don't have to play so hardcore to stay where I am at. It's enough for me if I remember to take all my xanaxes - and completely OK if I miss a xanax or two here and there. I haven't even resubscribed after the chat fiasco, even though it has been fixed and is working just fine now. I don't plan to spend a dime on this game ever again and plan on continuing on this more casual playstyle for as long as I have any interest left in the game. It's much more enjoyable to not stress about everything too much - it's just a game in the end and I've already reached most of my goals anyway.
I usually just mug as I am too poor for the buying part. That being said, if someone needs me to mug for their buy just hit me up. We split the profit.

So basically this year Ched just decided to save and not give any compensation for those who still experienced issues like the rest of us, but decided that chasing M'aol wasn't worth it. Now you had to use your energy for this shit to get pretty much the same compensation you used to get every year nevertheless. Yay!
I would be interested in the actual stats for the M'aol fight. How many participated, who made most attacks/damage and so on. Shame that it seems like they "fixed" the attack log by simply removing all of that info.
I used exactly 25e to attack Cheb once, since that clown kicked me out from his server. The server he so much wanted to make so he can play a little dictator, which he couldn't do on the LootRangers server. Check the attack log and you'll see that I did second most damage to M'aol.
Then this clown alerts the whole server to be his personal army for one attack? Lmao.
Basic Ched fix. Nobody can use extra energy overseas such as cans, refills and treats from the basket, making the 600m health that much harder to get down. Prepare to spend rest of the night flying back and forth to Torn just to get some more E for the attacks.
