This is a fairly simple game I recall playing in an IRC an eternity (probably six months) ago.
The rules are fairly simple. Someone makes a wish, and then the player after them breaks it and makes a new wish. It looks something like this:
"I wish that my grandma would stop attacking me with her pet snails"
"Granted, but her snail farm has moved under your bed, so they now live in your bed sheets. I wish for a life-sized cutout of America's 39th president, Jimmy Carter."
"Granted, but he reeks of the impending apocalypse caused by your wish. I wish..."
So on and so forth. Feel free to have some fun with it, but try to respect other players in the game. Try to keep your wishes jovial, as serious wishes can sometimes ruin the fun atmosphere.
We've got all of the things previously mentioned, and so much more, including: an ever growing community of players, a well stocked medical armory, an extra +3 items carried from abroad (hey! I'm on a plane right now!) and so much more!!
(cue diabolical laughter)
The Spanish Inquisition is looking for active individuals, who share an active interest in both Torn and the religious purification of the Motherland. [WARNING: No religious purification included. DOUBLE-WARNING: We are not Spanish, nor of largely Hispanic descent. This group of individuals still communicates in English.] Participation is expected from members of the Inquisition, in both combat excursions (henceforth known as "The punishment of heretics") and day to day banter, as we seek to answer the question vexed question of how to build a faction, but first, to commercial.
All of those in mine holy army shall be excised after three days of inactivity. Three shall be the number of days waited, and the days waited shall be three. Four shall not be counted, and two is to be avoided, excepting the progression to 3, on which they shall be removed.5 days is right out!
Alll those that shall join the faction will be expected to maintain awareness of the faction forums.
All shall be under the eye of scrutiny in there activity. Good shall be rewarded with good, and bad the same.
I'm terribly sorry, but, during the editing process, it has been decided that this post has gotten quite silly, and we'll need to put an end to it before it further degrades the quality of these fine Torn City forums. Good day, sir/madam.
I haven't got a vault yet, but that seems like a wonderful idea. I run a faction, so I do my banking there, but I frequently find myself wondering where my money went. I don't know where I'd be if we didn't have the faction log.

Granted, but all Sweet shops are run out of business by the riots caused by lack of product, as it was all bought by people on happy jumps. (Man, these Torn City residents are violent people, aren't they?) The supply is cut off, and boosters are now much more limited.
