Players can start a company, but where will this companies outlet, office or factory actually be?

Real estate should be expanded to include commercial properties to be purchased and rented out to company directors.

This opens up the possibility of real estate becoming an interactive aspect of the game. As it is right now, property quickly becomes proverbial paperweight; after a few weeks you have the PI with all the upgrades (cash perks in place of merit perks) and it becomes little more than a vault.

Who owns the buildings these companies are setting up shop in?

What type of building is it? an outlet mall, a business strip maybe a warehouse or factory?

Landlords have the responsibility to keep the property above board but also have the options of making their property more desirable for commercial ventures, like adequate parking and having a location that has high traffic and good exposure.

I came up with this idea in about 8 seconds so please excuse how rough it is.

I want to hear other peoples ideas concerning commercial property in torn.

afterthought: maybe faction affiliated companies with physical address could be raided by rival factions. kick them right in the wallet, like a financial hospitalization

Definitely a good idea rumgone, maybe just a simple rental system for companies, and apply boost in exchange for rent paid on time, with the option for landlords to purchase upgrades to make their building a more attractive and more expensive option to opening up in the cheapest dinge-hole available

Woah OK now we're talking. Salt mine?  Could this go as big as commodities trading,  gold and oil prices, mining companies and shipping?

I'd be investing in barrels of oil instead of bottles of beer.

I hope we get more players behind this
