Unfortunately a great disservice has been done to the humble people of North-North America by whoever's job it is to write the all-important travel hints.

Fortunately for the staff member who was about to get inevitably fired for their inaccuracies, they aren't solely to blame for all this. Whichever motherlickers were responsible for this didn't stop writing this lie until 1999. I guess that means the staff only had the short time of... 22 years to get their facts straight.

Yonge Street apparently is only 56km/35mi long. That's only 1840km off, I suppose.
The confusion arises as Yonge Street connects to Highway 11 (1,785km/1,109mi long) which is the second longest highway in the province.
Before 1990, Yonge Street was formally a part of Highway 11, as you can see in this disgustingly oversized jpg.
But no, Yonge Street has never in fact been 1896km long. It's just all wrong.

So you may ask yourself... Why would the staff post this misinformation? Were they just simply misinformed themselves? Or is something much deeper going on?
Well, upon further digging.. I found this, a report done on the soils of Northumberland County.

Now, to travel from Highway 11 to Northumberland county will take about 2:03hrs.
But how long does it take from Yonge street, you might ask? About 1:21hrs. Bear that number in mind.

What is so significant about all this?
What drugs have you been taking, Ridefeather?
And where may I source them, you may ask?

Well look what just happens to be mentioned 121 times in the Northumberland County report: !!!!!!

My original intention was to make a suggestion to correct the false information, but now I also suggest that we are given some answers!

With the ranked wars becoming such an important mechanic now, it makes no sense to keep any inactive players, no matter how loyal they were. You know the ones that were there from that start of the faction, but have taken a hiatus from Torn. I think we should have an inactive role where they get no perks at all, but are excluded from Ranked Wars completely. They will just take up a faction slot but not be a farming target for wars or anything. It could have a cooldown on switching to inactive/active of so many days.

That's a good point to consider. But factions will also give away consumables, meds, ect. So if the balance was also based on items in/out, there would have to be a feature to filter those out too. You wouldn't want a system where if someone takes xanax to help with the chain, they're suddenly in negative debt, for example.

Definitely use Torn Stats!
It will break down your merits into categories better and show the progress required in each one, it makes it so much simpler.
It will also show you other nice things, like your networth in a pie chart and ways to filter your items to see where the value is being held, ect.
