Aye, I can agree in parts with this. It's a very old thing with the internet for alot of males to like to pretend to be female with their persona, that alongside the majority male population of the internet and sites such as this one makes for a much higher probability.
Why people would be doing this? A few single reasons, woman on the internet recieve marginally more attention and praise, as well as attention just for the sake of being female, there are many guys who find it hard to grasp attention or care and find identifying their online persona with that of a female gives them a better feeling of inclusivity and adoration with only the effort of picking the "Female" option tickbox on whatever X site they're using.
Pretty old standard for the internet but it's an unfailing one, no matter what community or platform there will always be a proportianally high amount of people (likely males or male identifying in this scenario) that will be using a feminine or female persona for the inherent passive and active* benefits there seem to be.
