I've decided to run a small competition based on Random Acts of Kindness. I have been in Torn for under two years and have met some pretty cool people who have offered me assistance, whether it be an extra few days PI rent for free as I was busy selling our xanax to buy our first P.I or the kind person who saw on the forums I started to learn python and offered me some help. This is what being part of a community is about.
How this works
Very simply, find a player who is much lower than you in stats or NW and help out. You may be a noob who can only afford to send 5 boxes of chocolates to an even newer player or a seasoned player who will guest in a newer factions chain, clear a wall for them or just send a drug pack - get creative.
Once you have completed your act of kindness, mail (not chat) me with a copy of the event, chat log or deed you have done DO NOT POST IT HERE! Once I have a batch of acts I will randomly post them in the below thread as well as randomly posting usernames who have partook. I will keep a record of entries and randomly select 3 winners. If you really go out of your way to assist, I will assign you bonus entries at my discretion.
Lastly, if you need out of game help like "I want to learn to code" or "my laptop is broken, what are my options" post below with "Request" in the top line. If you can help the poster message them and get them to mark the post as being assisted (keep the original text).

Please don't abuse this by sending your mate something and getting them to send it back. It defeats the object of the game.
Don't give your stuff away, sell it and buy stocks with dividends, move into a trailer and go into the education job. Life changes and in 5 years time you might want to come back. You might feel you need to do this to beat gaming addiction or eradicate laziness, but look at it as your first of many decisions with an outcome of bettering yourself in the future. Minor accomplishment, but a first mental win.

Now being a 3rd rate investigator I did a quick reverse image search and see these people are on instagram ALOT and some sites my company internet would not let me visit.
I feel our beautiful flowers should be made aware that the internet is using their Torn profile pics and exploiting them.
I hope we can band together and stop this abuse as these gals are going to be losing out on all the gifts and PI's they are requesting.
I got back into mtg around this time last year after 20-25 years away from it. I was hoping to get back into standard but my lgs only plays commander so whipped up a deck and just rocked up to the lgs on game night. The commander crowd is very chilled and happy to help you get into the game.
If I could do it over again, I’d buy a precon as my first deck instead of trying to build one. So much easier and cheaper as well.
