I read that as 1000 losses for 500k... as in total.
There's no "each" presented on either side of your chat lol.
So I get a downvote for... what? Pointing out that the written offer as it was presented, was clear, if you read it closely enough?
I never said I am supporting Dsla in underpaying noobs, just pointing out a fact.

My real life partner and I play. He's largely inactive right now, because he works a manual/physical labour job 40+ hours a week, 5-6 days a week, and commutes an hour each way to work/home as well. Not much time left for torn, and we love playing phone games that pay us.
I contacted bogie and asked about how to navigate two people playing from the same location, internet connection, etc.
I already knew we had to login to our own accounts, on our own devices. No device sharing.
I already knew we cannot use one account to unfairly feed the other account. Easily done.
I have traded with him, sent him millions of items, employed him with no wage (trade was in items and cash when needed), and have money invested in his bank, all tracked through the game chat, and when I retrieve my cash, he will keep his profit.
You are absolutely allowed to have multiple players in one home.
You aren't allowed to feed items and cash from one account to another, unfairly balanced to benefit one account.
You cannot log into multiple torn accounts on the same device.
I know MANY real life couples, and families, who have played this game, successfully, over the years. They are all still here.
My partner will be back around Halloweek, or Christmas, not sure what his plans are (and we have a vacation right at the start of Halloweek).... but I totally want him back and playing/growing, not sitting inactive, but.... I am also not stupid and don't log in or control his account. Ever.
Sometimes he's home for three day weekends (this month has two statutory holidays in it, for our part of the world, so this weekend), sometimes he's home in the middle of the week day, and gone on a weekend day....but mostly, he was set in his very low activity time commitment. I used to play most hours of the day and night and recently fell into a slump myself.
For you all to end up in federal jail, there HAD to be something going on that showed the staff you were violating the multi-account rule.
I just saw that you log in on the same PC. That's not wise.
Look, it's part of the game.
They are free to demand a payment to quit, and you are free to pay it... or not. Ignore them, or don't.
Utterly up to you. this is no conspiracy, no censorship. Not a sensitive issue, and you posting like this in the forums is only going to make others want to do the same thing to you.
Don't be a nuisance. This is how and why people end up taking such actions against players just like you... and you.
I am utterly repulsed by this, honestly.
I am female, and irl I wouldn't do this.
I especially wouldn't do this in a game, even if it's just coding.

it's an old faction. They went back ;).
people, and factions, do this all the time.
I ran a law firm briefly for one faction I was part of. I didn't enjoy the experience, I prefer candle shops ;).
would love the ability to direct more than one company. I mean, we can have managers as it is... owners in real life own multiple companies and pop in and out for overall check-in/management. Other than that, I have no issue with companies as it is. I choose to own one that operates at an annual loss, but Halloweek more than makes up what I pay out to run the company all year. And I've been directing for the majority of my time in torn, tried my hand at a small variety of companies/was flipping companies for a while. There were some changes to companies, perhaps before you joined, as well. Though my weed soaked brain doesn't recall anything. Maybe it was just to stocks and the stock block availability... long story short, I would love just one change.
It still says 0 in circulation, even on the ones for sale right now. Who can say who got it first, with that info being shown. It might update the numbers after reset.
have to say, I REALLY enjoy your forum content. every time.
they have one hell of a mugging coming ;).
I mean, then the answer is clearly... you don't own the only one ;) Lol.
I took maybe 6 months off from the game last year, after losing my mom, and then our dog to fast moving cancers, and being overwhelmed trying to help a friend here in torn with a lot of stuff.
there's 3 on the item market right now

1000 stacked energy is 40 hits.
+ 1 xanax if no drug cooldown, add 10 = 50 total from xanax/stacking
Also, revitalize weapons.
Also, MCS stock blocks...
Also, job points from pubs, candle shops or farms ;).
candle shop only gives you a max of 500e per day. 100 jp x 5e = 500 twice in a chain ;)
Chains existed before ranked wars. ANY hits made during a chain, whether a war is happening or not, whether inside the war, or outside, will contribute to an active chain.
Faction chat is there to... ask questions. If you'd not participated in a ranked war before, there is plenty of information to learn about it, how it all works, and a GOOD faction leader (not saying the one you had was), would help teach the younger/lower stat players.
ALL lower stat players are useful in any war. It's called group attacking, which is what you should have been used for, during that war, so that you were effective, no matter whether YOU can take the opposing targets or not ;).
Find a better faction, with older players, stronger leadership, better perks. Don't join noob trap factions.
I'm sorry, what do you mean, several days? Global chat has been available forever. And always been like that... I'm not sure why you're saying it's been several days since players are able to use it?
Did you upgrade to the new chat option and perhaps that enabled global? That happened to me. I shut off global years ago. It's just spam and people looking for targets.
no snow where I am, and the whole country isn't French.
Happy Canada Day, from the west coast/Vancouver Island... we had poutine for lunch in the amazing 27 degree day, while a parade went up the main drag of town.
Ahem... torn has WOMEN ;).
And me, being an actual IRL female, have been married to actual dudes in this game.
Current one is my real life husband.
I own the PI, I pay all the upkeep. It helps him, because I love helping younger players.
Women get super sick of the weird shit we have to endure in this game. And in real life. I've hidden behind a male name when I did live chat support for a job, to stay safe. I just don't care to pretend to be anything I'm not, in gaming worlds ;).
I don't recall ever asking why something was so expensive.
I spent a lot of time buying items, and dump searching for items, then selling them to traders.
I... did the grind, and slowly made money.
Even though people get older in this game and amass more... doesn't mean we want noobs coming begging with their hands out, when we all remember well how hard we had to work, when getting started in this game.
Being part of a good faction might be a place where you find older players willing to gift you money, items, and advice.
I know I go out of my way to help our newer players, within our faction... and I usually offer, or just gift. They do not ask.
When I joined my first faction, I was gifted a set of combat armor, and a diamond bladed knife, but until I joined a faction... no one gave me anything I didn't work for, in this game.
Edited to add: new players in today's game have WAY easier ways of quickly earning money. Ranked wars didn't exist when I joined. Crimes now pay better, at least from what I notice/when I notice. And I'm making more, and more consistently, with faction OCs, on OC 2.0.
New players begging while crying poverty/being new... really doesn't gain much sympathy. The older the player is, likely the harder THEIR initial grind was, "back in the day". You seem to be just another noob in a long, long line of noobs (and there's tons making this same ask over on the Facebook Torn groups, with the same results)... who just wants an easy leg up.
If you move it so the MCS pays on Fridays, you'll be able to use it twice during Halloweek.
What about Canada Day??
Some of the answer options don't really apply, at all.
Not everyone does ranked wars, for instance. I sometimes just had to randomly click, as there was no honest answer I could choose ;).
Yeah. I was agreeing on the weirdos.
Just had one flip on me two nights ago. Some noob in a low respect faction with low stat players. Told him I'm not a sir. He then sent the weirdest crap to me and blamed a translation tool.
I'm an actual woman..I've never gotten foot pic requests.
But there are some serious weirdos, once they find out you're female.
