Dunno how you think about it, but i think the new mission system is a bit 'too much'..
In first place, making Duke totally happy you have to do like a million sub missions.. Probably takes a month :( Second, these missions go from 'take your rifle' to 'fists only', back to 'use a clubbed weapon' to 'punch him in the left eye' (ok, this is not true, but you got the point), and so on.. Most of the time a mission target is already hospitalized so if you want to continue to do the mission, you need to revive the target first.. Furthermore you need to travel the half world to shoot your target in Afrika, with a travel time of 3+hours (in my case). Most of the people take the wrong weapon with them and need to travel more and more..
And this is only just the beginning of Dukes mission stuff, what will bring the next 20 steps? I don't have the time to keep changing weapons, travelling for hours etc!
This tread is not to QQ, but i am really wondering what your opinion is about the mission system so far. Thanks!
Omg i need help, all my items are dropped in the dump.... some kind of bug selected ALL items on background, while displaying only the ones i selected myself and now everything is gone...
My friend can't log in to Torn anymore because Torn changed to email adress login. He can't remember his (million year old) email addres he signed up with. Is there any option to look it up?
Suggestion: can we please make this page a bit more interesting? It always looks the same.. Why don't we use these lovely 5 seconds of a persons life better by showing them something really cool, interesting, sexy or whatever..? :)
I mostly give a x amount of ingame money to people successfully busting me out of jail, just a way to thank them.
I don't know if this is something we all do from time to time, or it is just me.
Anyway, my suggestion would be to add a small option behind the message in your event screen saying something like: Mr. X successfully busted you out of jail - tip [$........] to thank Mr. X.
When receiving an event with someone busting you out of jail, you quickly can put in a (volunteerly) amount of $ to reward/thank the person.
Can we have a new link here (see pic below) with the option to go back to the latest Crime (in this case 'Plant a computer virus')? 'Back to crimes' now brings you back to 'all' of the crimes, so not the one you where 'busy with'. An extra link with 'go back to latest crime' or something similar would be very welcome! I found a skateboard just after the new city upgrade, posted it on the forums thanking Ched. And the most stupid thing about it is that i accidentally dropped it back in to the dump after a while myself making a big mistake selecting the items i wanted to drop (i selected ALL my items somehow..). After my mistake (and some QQ) Ched changed the selection option in the dump so mistakes like happend to me can't happen anymore. But i lost my skateboard forever... :-s
