At the top of the page it says "Click here to boost your recovery speed, boost your energy bar to 150 and gain 75 extra points."

Clicking that takes you to the donator page. But there's no warning that the 75 points are only if you go for the subscription and that regular donator packs actually give you just 50 points.

Perhaps this could be made clearer like:

"Click here to boost your recovery speed, boost your energy bar to 150 and gain 50-75 extra points."

I just fell for this scam in trade chat. I sent items but obviously got NO cash back.

I've been hit with two scammers in one day! What's the best way to deal with this kind of thing?

The first one is this Severan guy. He promised to lend me 6m if I helped him out of hospital but then came up with an excuse after I sent him morphine...

I guess it's interesting to hear from other people about how they interpret scammers. The overall consensus is that it's just part and parcel of the game and all's fair in love and war. 

I guess I should face the reality that this game is really full of scammers and unscrupulous people that will do ANYTHING to get ahead.

Since I posted this thread, I've had other people tell me they've also been scammed by him.

Why would I scam? My networth is over 200m. What you're talking about is part of a coordinated attempt to discredit my name by those who I've exposed over the years. They're powerful, well-connected and they HATE me exposing their scams.

Well I was raised to respect my elders. And I figured those who've been playing for so long wouldn't need to abuse a newbie like myself. I have so little and they have so much.

Yeah I feel like a big silly willy. Those guys outsmarted me. I trusted them because of their level and age.

I agree. I know scamming is considered as "legal" but perhaps that's something that needs to be revised. Or at least come up with better mechanisms to protect people. Especially new players like myself.

You know about those? Yeah I'm one guy that has them. They were sent to me by a dev friend. I got more today as an "apology" for the downtime yesterday. But the price has gone up because demand is through the roof. A lot of people have been doubting the item exists and yet I've sold so many and I have repeat customers.

For me, I always hit Mary. Her level and age are high but her gym stats are awful. I normally get 500-600k per mug from her.

That's ludicrous. Why would I ever waste my money on an item like that?

I've been the target of Mary's "investigation". 

It started with an aggressive message calling me a scammer and concluded in a similar fashion when I refused to send her high value items to "hold as collateral" 

Perhaps this thread has outed some scammers or buy-muggers but mostly it's a lot of unfounded accusations and lackluster "investigations" which are essentially assumptions pretending to be a science. 

If you scroll back you'll see she removed a few names after I called her out for a lack of evidence. 

After calling her out, she started an all out war against me. It was worth it though, to point out her abuse. 

Don't trust Odin-All-Father. I blocked him and he bypassed the block and somehow sent me an anonymous message. It shows as being from "Someone" and when you reply it goes to "Anonymous". It's against the game rules to bypass a block. 

Plus I got mugged the second he bought xanax from my Bazaar.

Mary, you still have the wrong idea in mind. 

People shouldn't have to double check your list and tell you when you're wrong. 

You should have concrete evidence from the start, BEFORE you add anyone to your list.

Your whole list continues to fall apart and you have to keep removing people because you never did the right thing in the first place.

"sorry for having some without proof" - this right here is enough to just delete the thread. Be responsible. 

It's not blackmail. Share the full message, not just the bits you want. I simply want you to pay what was lost because of this mess you started. I'm only asking you to cover the costs.

I bountied you because you put me in hospital a couple of times and threatened to add me to your list if I didn't send you a bunch of expensive items as "collateral". 

Then you added me and removed me after people realized what you're up to.

Now your faction is paying the price. Look at how many of them are in hospital.
