I haven’t aimed this list at any one player group. My hope is that it provides useful targets for chains, levelling, or anything else you can think of. There are targets from levels 1 to 100, with battle stats ranging from double digits all the way up into the trillions.
The lower end of the list is still a bit light, but with the excellent resources already available from Baldr, Trip etc, I decided to focus higher up the range first. I’m currently working on building out more sub-200m targets to make the list more useful for newer players.
Using the sheet
The list is split into tabs based on total battle stats, making it easier to find targets in your range. Column A contains a link directly to each player's profile, to save you having to copy and paste their name or ID.
Each entry includes the date the spy was taken and how many days inactive the player should be on the day you view the sheet. This is calculated from the spy date, plus however many days inactive they were when the spy was taken.
The sheet now also checks player activity via the Torn API. Active players are removed from the public list automatically, so the sheet should stay much cleaner and more accurate over time. The public sheet updates from my master sheet once per hour.
We've been trying to make a list of stat spies (like Baldr's list) for our faction members to use as chain targets & thought it would be way easier if they could be added to a spreadsheet and be embedded into a forum post.
When you try and use Google's HTML embed in the source tab of the post, it just shows the code - On a phpBB forum I use, you're able to just post the link to the spreadsheet & it automatically renders it as an embedded sheet (I'm guessing this will be via an extension though)
This may also be useful for traders and the like?
EDIT: This is how it looks on the other forum I use:
I’ve just made a fairly big change to how the spy list works.
My master sheet now checks player status via the Torn API, so active players are removed automatically rather than me having to keep on top of it manually. It should mean the list stays a lot cleaner and more accurate over time.
The public sheet has also been updated to use a script instead of a formula, and now pulls through changes from the master sheet once per hour.
Nothing really changes in how you actually use the sheet, but it should now stay much more up to date in the background. One question I do have, is do you like the profile link, or would you prefer me to link straight to the attack page? Let me know!
Torn Target Lists is a (very) simple script which adds a panel to the bottom of the targets page containing links to many of the public target lists to help with finding targets for chaining, levelling etc:
