I think the first week of my Torn account the app set unopened on my phone, when I finally got around to opening it and starting the tutorial I was immediately intrigued but didn't really know what I was suppose to be doing. After a few days of being active I was invited to a 10 man semi active faction. I don't really remember the name or anyone there as I was there only for a few short weeks, but they were the ones who taught me to buy 100 items from bits and bobs and some other basic things.
After a week or two there, I was basically poached by Wall_st/Satan from we are rising. I was excited to try chaining for the first time and was quickly introduced to some helpful guides on happy jumping and other basic things in Torn. When I joined there I wasn't even level 15 and a week later I participated in my first ever chain, that being a 25k which pushed me well passed level 15. After that I was flying and making a small amount of money.
I realized flying wouldn't pay for what I needed, that being edvds and xanax. I had decided early in Torn that I wanted to have my own company and had already started the educations, so that would be my first major goal. Instead of doing sport science first, I went for business bachelors and eventually bought my first company a 10* Sweet Shop. Doing this I have bypassed the need for working stats and have been a director most of my Torn life.
At this point, I had been with we are rising for several months, I saw many flaws in leadership and realized the faction was completely unorganized. A friend had decided to go to NS3 and I decided to follow him there. Being a noob in NS3, still in my happy jump phase I saw how other players who started at a similar time we were already much further ahead then me. I think it was around this time I decided I was going to have to find another source of income on top of my Sweet Shop and flying.
Looking for out of the box ways to make money, I realized you could sell your bounty slots, there was nothing I needed to invest in other than time to find players willing to buy. I figured if I sold my bounty slots every day that could be an extra 2 to 4 mill. Obviously I ran into a problem and most of the time the bounties I placed wouldn't be claimed for a couple of days, it was then I had the idea to start my own bulk bounty slot business. I started a discord server, recruited mostly new players to join and found a few clients that bought slots pretty much everyday. I would charge about 300k per slot, I would keep 100k and the bounty placer would make 200k.
I did this for a long time, eventually selling my sweet shop and buying a AN I was able to get through the rest of my happy jumps which meant all the profit I had been making from selling trains and bounty slots was going into my pocket rather then into EDVDS. This was still not enough money for me, in a way I felt like I was competing against my own faction mates to see who could do what the fastest. Which is a good thing in my opinion and one of the reasons NS has become so successful, we are constantly looking for better ways to get better and outdo each other.
At this time, logistic management companies had been out for a few months and a lot of players were making very good money from it. I could never hope to afford one anytime soon, so I reached out to other players in NS and eventually worked my way into running a LM for someone. This is the LM I have today and have now been running it for 441 days.
Going into my second year in Torn I gave my bounty service to a friend who had helped me build it and it is still currently active and accepting clients. The time to money ratio just was no longer worth it to me, I also stopped flying due to the same reasons. Being in Torn more I was able to start mugging, even though Im not very consistent with it I have managed to mug over 4 billion. I also dabbled in Russian Roulette and have made about 2.8 billion in profit but I try to stay away from the casino as much as possible.
Moving forward I decided there wasn't really a better way to make passive income other than owning LM's. My first proxy was to my spouse who I had known from we are rising and had become very good friends with. The first one took awhile but before I knew it was getting a second proxy. Currently I have 50% ownership of 5 LM's and 100% of a 10* AN which I sell trains at. All of these were purchased or started in my second year.
At some point Medicare turned into Waste Management and I decided to go there and try to reinvent myself. I wanted to share some of the knowledge I had learned from NS3 and teach the next generation of savages. After a month I made council, shortly after that we rebranded to NSIV and most recently I have been made co leader. This is by far the biggest accomplishment of my Torn career, I would have never imagined accomplishing this in under two years and hope I can continue to help NSIV reach the glory they deserve.
My third year in Torn I'm going to spend building my networth and cashing in on all this passive income I have rolling, I think I have built a good foundation but due to the cost of LM's I have not been able to go above about a 14 bill networth. I would really like to see something over 25 bill. As for my battlestats, I have taken two to three xanax a day and a refill consistently for a long time now, they really aren't as high as I would like and maybe by the end of my third year I can really buckle down and start training FHC's.
