Look, before you illiterate window-lickers smash the downvote button because your smooth brains saw the word "event" and immediately panicked, shut up and look at the fucking math. This isn't another braindead, point-printing handout for the mega-factions to hoard. This is a structural macro-economic vacuum designed to unfuck the absolute trash-heap that Crimes 2.0 and daily map spawns have turned our market into.

As someone who has wasted over 10,000 fucking hours in this godforsaken text game, I know exactly how this forum works. If an idea doesn’t respect energy, nerve, and cash liquidity, it deserves to get dragged behind a truck. But right now, the economy is drowning in useless shit. This proposal introduces "Faction Supply Contracts"—a scalable item sink for the devs to manipulate market values, and a way for faction leaders to get their most retarded, non-combat members to actually do something useful for once.

📊 The Core Problem: The Infinite Garbage Influx

Torn’s economy is heavily supply-side fucked. Thanks to Burglary, Disposal, Forgery, and every idiot with a magnifying glass clicking on their city map, millions of items enter circulation daily out of thin air.

• The Sinks Are Pathetic: Outside of dumping flowers at the Museum or feeding Big Al’s bottomless armory, 90% of the random shit in this game has zero natural exit velocity. It just sits there, rotting.
• The Brain-Damage Margin: Point values are constantly bouncing around like a meth-head on a pogo stick, and traveling profits are a joke. Lower-to-mid tier players are left holding thousands of illiquid, near-worthless items because the market is completely flooded with garbage.

The game desperately needs a flexible, developer-controlled item black hole.

📦 The Mechanic: Faction Supply Contracts

Every two weeks, the system drops a global mandate from an international smuggling syndicate. They don't want your fucking cash; they want bulk physical goods.

[System Notification]
"A smuggling vessel arrives in 48 hours. They require 250,000 Bricks, 50,000 First Aid Kits, and 100,000 Bottles of Beer. Feed the beast."

1. Faction-Wide Pooling

• Factions opt into a specific shipping contract via their faction page.
• A specialized "Shipment Vault" opens up.
• Members dump their requested items directly into the vault. Once it’s in, it’s fucking gone. Permanently destroyed. No clawbacks, no buyer's remorse.

2. Scaling for Retards (Tiered Requirements)

• To prevent 100-member mega-factions from finishing the event in four seconds, item requirements scale dynamically based on total member count or Faction Respect Tier. Smaller factions don't get completely fucked by impossible numbers.

3. The Devs Control the Knobs

• This is the beauty of the system: The administration can manually or algorithmically seed contract demands.
• Did some exploit or new crime completely tank the price of a specific item class? Fine. The next cycle’s contract demands 5 million of those exact items, artificially driving the price floor back up and unfucking the market.

📈 Economic Proof: Why This Works

For the spreadsheet warriors who think they're fucking Warren Buffett, let's look at a simulated model of how a single contract cycle stabilizes a crash-prone asset class:

Because these items are permanently deleted from the database, money doesn't enter the game via raw cash prints (which causes inflation). Instead, value is returned to the players because the absolute garbage sitting in their inventories suddenly becomes worth a premium.

👥 The Faction Leadership Lever

Ranked Warring is exhausting, and chaining requires people to actually have two functional brain cells to rub together. Faction leaders are constantly pulling their hair out trying to keep casual or mid-tier members engaged between wars without burning out their medical or booster cool-downs.

• Non-Combat Utility: This gives your faction's resident pacifists, revivers, and traders a tangible, high-impact way to contribute to the faction’s progress without dragging down a war wall.
• Tracking the Slackers: Leadership can track individual shipment contributions via API. You can easily see who is actually pitching in, and who is a lazy, retarded freeloader who needs to be kicked to the curb.

⛔ Preventing Exploits & Alt Abuse

A major reason suggestions get absolutely torn apart on these forums is because they're easily farmed by scripts and multi-accounting morons. This system completely bypasses that risk:

1. No Raw Cash Payouts: The event does not pay out liquid Torn Dollars ($) or Points to individual accounts. This eliminates the incentive to run 50 multi-accounts to harvest raw currency.
2. Faction Gated: Items must be contributed through an established faction. New or shell factions face high tax penalties on contract completions to stop throwaway alt-factions from exploiting it.
3. Diminishing Returns: Contributing past a faction's maximum tier limit rewards absolutely nothing.

🏆 Balanced Rewards & Incentives

Nobody is going to donate millions in assets out of the goodness of their hearts. The rewards must be valuable, but strictly non-inflationary:

• Faction Cache Upgrades: Successful shipments grant a temporary, two-week perk buff (e.g., +2% passive manufacturing speed, +5% traveling capacity, or reduced hospital stay times).
• Exclusive Merit Track: A progression badge system ("Shipped 1,000,000 items globally") to incentivize completionist, high-net-worth players to sink their own billions into buying up market supplies just to get a shiny medal.
