When you equip mods on a weapon the accuracy and damage stats are adjusted accordingly. It would be nice if those two numbers were also affected by everything else; merit perks, weapon mastery, education perks, ect.

With such simple combat mechanics there isn't reason for them to change this dramatically. Why are they changing their minds so much? Having done it before isn't a good reason to keep doing it, imo. Other MMO's offer telnet/skill/whatever refunds when they rework systems.

No they fall off in both directions from speed-dex now, so they are super situational, aka garbage.
I read the announcement. He said there was a large thread months ago where these accuracy changes where discussed.
Do you have a link to that thread? I wouldn't mind reading it.
With how simple the combat mechanics are. Why did they make accuracy "OP as f**k" if they didn't want it to be? You can completely analyze it on one spreadsheet.
I wouldn't buy the accuracy mods the way they are now. They should take them back and give back the mission points.
When they do major combat stat changes it wouldn't be that hard to to let people redistribute their stats on a one time basis.

I wasn't comment on the state of balance pre vs post change. I was comment on the fairness of making such a large change with no compensation to the people negatively effected. But I guess it's a free game so f em.
regarding balance. I think it's pretty common for RPG's to have large differences in the value between stats. It gives an opportunity to dig into game mechanics and strategically choose what to improve. So I don't think it's better for accuracy to be shit, or dex to shi. It's better for it not to change so that peoples progress isn't invalidated.
Balance is a weird concept to appeal to in torn, I think. Because it's a very unbalanced game in general. The strong already dominate the weak with little to no recourse.

So I guess nerfing to shit things people have been grinding for years for makes sense then. Do they post a list of things that are "overpowered as hell" that they plan to nerf to shit so people know what not to waist time on?
Just because they still do "something" doesn't mean they are still useful. They are much much less useful than they were before.
I didn't like your opinion. Ran out of down votes.
The weapon mod changes seem unfair with how long grinding those points takes.
