In the USA. if I get into an argument with someone and they say to me im going to my truck to get my gun. Did they commit assault or do they have to say i am going to shoot you? further lets say they said im going to my truck to get my gun and shoot you can i shoot them first or do i have to wait for them to brandish their gun and point it at me or whatever?
