Cyber Doll looks really cool, I watched a guy named Majulaar on Youtube review it and I've wanted to give it a spin myself ever since.

I'm also working my way through the old fire emblem (and Advance Wars) titles right now. Currently halfway through Genealogy of the Holy War.

If you're looking for something niche, I recommend Uncharted Waters: New Horizons for the Super Nintendo. It's a lot like Sid Meier's pirates, but it came out a decade earlier. GOD: Growth or Devolution on the same console is also really good, and the best way I could describe it is like if Earthbound had an edgier forgotten sequel.

God, that's terrible to hear. I remember really enjoying the guy's sense of humour back when I was part of the Heart of a Pirate faction, and he also helped make the place feel more welcoming in general. Rest in peace.

I really liked Pantheon (2022) myself. The Good Place (2016) is up there too.

Outside of TORN, what's the best MMO?

I mean, if we're to think about it in a serious, "lore-accurate" way, the chronicle archive labelled Day Jobs and Daylight Robbery does say that the hospitals in TORN are public/council-funded.

But where does this funding come from, if people don't pay taxes? Probably the casino. Those are also publically funded, so I guess the government is pocketing the profits?

It was China, and 77% of youth got around the ban by using other people's IDs. Just goes to show how ridiculous this idea is.

More seriously, I'm not sure there's another MMO that could fill the gap for me, so I'd probably give up playing this type of game entirely.

Well, the idea of some kind of earth-shattering consequence is fun and all, but really I'd love to know more about the text-based game where this originally happened.
