Until 2016 if you wanted to buy foreign money to travel abroad you had to tell the Argentinian government why via an application form. In Torn the only thing you need permission from the authorities for is wearing a sweater vest in public.
In fact we can only buy 200U$S montly at the ratio of 1U$S to 190ARS(Official exchange it says 85ARS to 1U$D. It's not real). So this still applies to today even.
Earth's magnetic field seems to be weakening around Argentina, and has done for over 180 years now. Torn's citizens were concerned at this, and in 1998 set up a charitable organisation called "Magnets for Argies", sending over 800,000 magnets to the country.
I can confirm. I can confirm that this is fake. We did not, I repeat, we did not receive nothing from you guys.
The Tango was invented in Argentina by working-class communities living by the Rio de la Plata. Torn lays claim to having invented tapwerking - a hybrid of tap dancing and twerking.
That's the only thing we export, that and a little bit of football stars, like Ronaldinho Maradona and Messi. We used to export corn, wheat. soy and meat but out government has closed up all exportation, excluding our market from the world. Yay!
Argentina's official Presidential aircraft is called Air Force Juan. This isn't true, but you're so racist you believed that it was.
Actually it was called Tango 01 and It was declared unsafe to use in 2016. In the actual days the government uses private planes to travel outside of the country, and an helicopter for movement within the country.
Between 1973 and 1983 nearly 30,000 people went missing in Argentina. Sadly there were not enough milk cartons to help find them all.
The darkest era of the country, It was moving from one coup to another. In between a lot of protester and political activist "dissapear" from the earth. Actually they were thrown in the sea and deep wells by the military regime and local police. Some people call it the cleanse of the streets, and other a disaster against human rights. I wasn't born so I can't know for sure.
In 1938 more than 15,000 Argentinians celebrated Hitler's annexation of Austria. Wow, I did Nazi that coming.
The most populist El Presidente of Argentina was Juan Domingo Perón, and it is even today. He was a big fan of the Nazis, and offered political and military asylum to a few High Ranking Officers from the Nazi Regime. He was compiting aginst the USA and UK to measure who got the biggest dick. There is a legend that it says Hitler did died in Argentina. But there is no proof of it. More Info
Che Guevara was born in Argentina, you know, the famous figure from the Cuban revolution? Still nothing? Just check your t-shirt drawer, he'll be in there somewhere.
I bet that you do have a T-shirt with his face on it. Commie! [image: i.ytimg.com]
In 1913 Argentina was the world's 10th richest nation, yet today it is only the 54th. Torn's wealth is rarely calculated, as profits from mugging and prostitution do not count towards official figures.
At 2020 the IMF (International Monetary Fund) Listed Argentina in the ranking 62 of 186. The World Bank listed Argentina ranking 60 out of 186. At 2017 the CIA (Central Intelligence Agency) Listed Argentina 65 out of 193. This is based on country GDP.
Argentina was the first Latin American country to legalise same sex marriage in 2010. Same sex marriage has been legal in Torn since 1934, but this was mostly for an insurance scam.
We are such a liberals, Imma right or what?
Argentina has created two of the world's greatest soccer players - Lionel Messi and Diego Maradona. Torn's only contribution to the game was Duke's involvement in the 2015 FIFA bribery scandal, when he offered six million dollars to President Sepp Blatter to persuade him to host the World Cup at Torn's dog track.
Fun fact: After 10 months of mandatoy quarentine the Government hosted the wake of Diego Maradona in the White House. Casa Rosada expecting to see about 1million of citizens atending in about 10 hours. Which was all badly calculated and that end up in riots inside the White House. Casa Rosada. You could actually count with the fingers of both hands the amount of people respecting the social distancing: 0. [image: i.ibb.co]

Every vaccine that companies create takes a log process (years) to become available for the general public. This CoViD vaccines are in some of beta testing and governments are paying to obtein them. Basically, our governments are paying to use US, the citizens to test the vaccine, when it should be the other way around ;) Its funny how people are trying to get vaccinated quickly rather than to wait for a vaccine that works proprerly and has been tested for quite some time...
I want to see what people think of the new system, I see a lot of complains, and a lot of praise. Let's see exactly what percentage of people like or dislike this.
Just vote, and leave a comment to bump the thread, if you want, of course.
I used to clean up my inventory every 2/3 months. In a mather of hours I would get around 100+- notifications of people buying stuff from my bazaar, thanks that my items were shown in the IM, now I just tried to release some inventory and all I got was 2 mugs, not even 1 buy... What the actual f**k. More reasons to just quit the game.
The UI is nice and all, but.... seriusly, what is the point of it? Have to roleplay to be a f**king seller to free inventory space?
This picture was taken jun 24, last time I clean my inventory. I was just happy to sell my stuff without that much hustle, now there is no way to do this quick.
For me it was Counter Strike and CoDMW. Not really sure how many hours I spent sitting in front of a monitor but it was a freaking lot. Also a bit of Lineage 2. I quit gaming a few years back and only play some simulation games from time to time, but not in a regular basis
The representative of a north side businessman calls you out of the blue. She needs you to supply her boss with some card details ahead of his next political fundraiser. "He's running for office, but his supporters are dirt poor," she tells you off the record. You inform the rep that you can provide 2,986 at a price of $220 each. She initially balks at the cost, but soon changes her tune when you tell her how much each card could earn. "Why don't you just use them yourself?" she asks. "Laziness," you reply. You set up a payment method and transfer the database over to the client's online storage portal. SUCCESS $656,920
A money laundering organization needs your help to clean their illicitly acquired income. One of your former clients recommended your services and they've asked for a total of 868. You draw up a database and take time to color-code every column to make it all pretty - first impressions count! Your client pays out $140 per row of data upon receiving the database. Sadly, they ask you to send the next batch without colors - all that effort, wasted. SUCCESS $121,520
