Gday,
During my factions chain: Chain #48374773, I completed an attack. As often when chain watching, I land the final hit around 35-40 seconds to chain end. The automatic "leave in street" 30 second timer begins, and as such will finish the resulted attack before chain drops.
Been using this feature for many years now as it gives me assurance that the chain won't drop, I've utilised time and extended my chain watching with as little e used over time.
Today, the chain dropped due to the timer lagging? Or server didn't automate like normal?
Instead of 30 seconds, this took 42 seconds.
Is this a bug? Am I wrong to use this method?
Bluff is big & strong. I'll be sure to never cross paths with this guy, his threats feel like they have teeth.
DN be shrivelled in fear.
But f**k, triple rank drop for losers. Let's drive that steak home!
An "Arena" or Tournament idea.
"Big" change as someone else posted - but in any tournament, there is still a very linear reward system. Easy to manipulate with data driven info.
Love the concept though
Felt special cos I knew an answer. I'm pretty shit at Trivia even if I go every Wednesday night with the wife.
This was my moment to shine. Wife's still not proud of me.
It's too easy to be exploited and open to further racketeering by making terts more valuable.
As we know, majority of the map already pays out to their respective land controllers. Just feeding them more.
The risk of 2 losses in a row knocking you out of the clustered rank.
Now that would be f**king wild west.
A very simple fix that atleast creates every 2nd war to be real.
Still a bandaid fix imo. But gee, would make any negotiations hostile.
Male. 34. Sydney. Here to drop grenades and walk away. Likes numbers.
I love a good fight. But whilst the system allows to cruise, imma cruise.
But those stats you posted, now that's the battle scene everyone expected with RW
I'm saying that your war is the EXACT battle that we want.
And if payments would some how articulate to match such a truthful war, then that would be incredible.
But even if it didn't, it is still the level of competitiveness ranked war is meant to incite.
Now how does one make that happen every week??
Reasoning - no decay means the winning faction MUST expend a minimum value of energy to take the win.
Hard to term that.
Negative effect is entirely financial and energy cost.
And even though I had 0 participation in the island war, it was incredible to watch. Just wish they had some form of ESPN TV to watch it on instead of trying to figure out who was who and where.
Envisioning Ara and Felan commentating play by plays... if Ara wasn't involved.
Hat went off to all involved
If it were 2 ranks though... well... then things could get spicy
-retals
-hospitalising
-med/hit received/med/hit received
Key events that could highlight termed vs competitive.
Could even live affect scoring. System identifies after 3-4 medouts consecutively, notes that it's termed, or just a nub. It places hits for the next xx minutes between particular members involved at 0.5x R opposed to x2 R.
As always, almost everything can be manipulated. But slowing the bleed would be ideal for competitive war.
Was fkn dire.
Whilst the system is in place to make money, we make money. We too focus on optimising income for our factions.
Is it right or wrong? Open to opinion. But we focus on the financial within our family, because there's really only 1 way to get to the top.
However, do we want a competitive war system that rewards those who genuinely worked hard and create an environment that has your heart pumping every week? f**k YEAH WE DO!
Currently we don't have that though...
But for now, we'll keep grinding that cache wheel. Dollar dollar bills yall
It really could just be that Ched wants these caches to fly off the shelf, and for players to throw billions into depreciating assets to help reduce the inflated economy.
But that's kinda also the point, back to the original post. It's not whether it was termed or not - it's that the fix didn't fix anything. Merely caused a slight hindrance.
The "fix" hasn't prevented terming, no punishment has been issued, and HOF facs can still do practically nothing and reap huge rewards.
Again. If the concept of eliminating termed deals and to introduce an actual competitive war function, current RW structure isn't it.
The fix didn't fix anything, other than rendering mercs less useful.
