The Israel-Gaza barrier that Hamas breached on October 7, 2023, was a high-tech, heavily fortified 40-mile barrier completed in 2021 at a cost of over a billion dollars, dubbed the "Iron Wall". 

Above-Ground and Underground Features;

Above-ground fence: A smart fence and steel wall rising roughly 20 feet high, topped with razor wire and equipped with remote-controlled machine gun systems, cameras, and radar arrays. 

Underground barrier: A deep concrete and steel subterranean wall embedded with acoustic and motion sensors to detect cross-border tunneling. 

Seams and gates: Interspersed with reinforced military command posts, observation towers, and heavy iron vehicle gates.

How It Was Breached;

Explosives and heavy equipment: Militants used localized explosive charges to blast gaps in the wire mesh and heavy steel panels, alongside tractors and bulldozers to tear down sections of the barrier. Explosive suicide drones were used to destry remote machine gun systems and surveillance.

Mass infiltration points: The multi-layered barrier was breached in roughly 30 locations simultaneously, allowing fighters to cross via motorcycles, pick-up trucks, and on foot.

This is just a small section of the combined arms attack used in the offensive. It included many more infiltration tactics and rocket artillery barrages for distraction and cover.

You should google how they launched their attack then. It was a lot more complex than 1 random walking up with a gas axe and cutting a hole.

Absolutely hideous stuff going on there. Wasnt until you made a comment in the other thread, where searched about it and found the sickening reports of how bad it is. Hardly any mention of it in my local news sources. Entire villages slaughtered and destroyed for being Christian.
