Feels weird getting something for nothing. So, here's a picture of an adorable puppy.

That one block of text just seemed to blur as I read it. Let me try something to make it easier for people to stay focused.
"Right heres the gig. I'm not doing this all formal. I'im getting straight to the point.... After a cute picture of a puppy.

So, when you join a faction you have to wait 3 days before you get benefits and other sorts available to you. Fairly understandable for a player, but certain factions have sister factions and a larger family. So, my idea is that maybe have like a faction family tree concept. Perhaps with a family dog like this.
Where family can't bind together in an alliance, and then members can move about with a slightly lesser cooldown time of maybe 12 hours. Perhaps even give that option to the leader to choose.
I'm sure a lot of players jump between there family factions to help and support, but having to wait 3 days is shit.
I have over 300 days in my current and moved to a sister faction for some guidance. Came back and have to wait another 3 days. Kinda sucks. Like this could be told better, but I'm tired so I'm sure other fellow players could add below, but I just think it could be a good idea.
Cheers! Luv ya xoxoxox"

So, I found out about bonus codes in the newsletter and of course screwed that up. *Monk voice* Here's what happened.
I couldn't find my newsletter in my email, so I requested it resent to me. Being super patient, I did a quick google search to see if I could just manual enter the bonus code somewhere since I knew it already. The first link listed when Torn Bonus Codes was search is the following:
https://www.torn.com/newsletterBonuses.php?bonus=SPRING2018&email=**************@gmail.com&code=7420115829
Being a genius I decided to just change the old code of SPRING2018 to the new code. Easy peasy. The result... You have successfully claimed the bonus code 'winter20'. +250 energy has been credited to Freaker [1844126].
"OOPS! That isn't my name!" Well, hopefully it is just an inactive player that wasn't inconvenienced or saving that up for a happy jump maybe... Nope, very active player. Great...
So, that's what happened. My bad. Gonna go send Freaker and apology gift and a message about this now.
EDIT: Removed the email part of the link by request. Also, please see Freaker's post below.

I will say, I have recently thought it would be nice to at least allow a bit of relation between factions, so that you could handle less pleasant things. For example, a graveyard. We love our members and have on occasion memorialized the loss of them. This wouldn't even need to be necessarily only for actual loss. The idea would be a place where members that have contributed for long periods could be placed if they decide to take one of those two year breaks.
I admit, it is a thought still in its infancy, but since this thread is on the subject of multiple faction relation I figured I would share it. I suppose the main benefit is to not have to strand somebody over in that graveyard faction just to be the caretaker. To be able to populate it with inactive players, but still have control.
That was a great deal of gloom and doom. So, here is another puppy.

Damn, this sort hurts. If there is a God, they are a cruel bastard for not letting pets live for hundreds of year beyond us.
Why does this game incentivize getting married so much? They already get the benefit of dual income to share a P.I. with, so why should they earn awards granting merits that I will never get. I even tried once in this game. I said, whatever, I will pay the entire property bill and just be married for merits. Spouse got federally arrested later. Oh, and because this is just a F'ing game, I couldn't even find out why they were federally arrested. Ain't that some $#it!
Here I had finally opened my heart up to somebody, and they arrest him! No spousal rights whatsoever! Couldn't even find out his offense. Now, jaded from one failed marriage, I refuse to be vulnerable again. Thanks game, needed commitment issues.

I wouldn't even call it a hit and run since he wasn't the guy that went all in. You go all in on somebody, you better be fine with them having it all.
And I am saying this as a RL poker player, not a torn one.

"You sent a Drug Pack to Freaker with the message: So, you might be wondering why you are getting this randomly sent to you. Well, it is a long story, but I screwed up and it caused your newsletter bonus code to activate. Check bug forums for details."

I exchanged my first two treats out of curiosity and received:
1xBottle of Pumpkin Brew
1xCan of Crocozade
1xBottle of Pumpkin Brew
1xCan of Crocozade
You sent a Lottery Voucher to DrRobDMD with the message: Gift Game Jackpot!
Friendly, helpful, and most importantly... Nobody mugged me any reasonable time afterwards.
I'd play Roulette more if it would allow more than one chip per bet. No doubling up? Weird. Also, craps has betrayed my love. For now, I guess it is lottery until I unlock Blackjack.
