How to get a mystery box? Just message me with which one you want to buy and the amount of them. Dont reply to the forum with your orders, i will not accept those. You can buy up to 5 boxes at a day. I can set up a trade so its safe, or you can pay before and I just send you the boxes you bought.

-48% chance to get higher value than paid
-48% chance to get lower value than paid
-2% chance to win the special item
-2% chance to get a nasty suprise (Tier 1 and Tier 2 dont have them)

EDIT: How i make boxes randomised?
Ive had some questions on how i dont put less value in them to make money. Well, i have a random number generator and I place the value of the box in it (example: Tier 1 box has expected value of 1k - 100k, so i put these values in RNG, what number comes out thats what about I put in the box. Same example, for Tier 1, i get 29185 from RNG, thats the value of the box i make)
So, i dont make profit with this game, or if i do its not with intentions of getting money. This is mostly for fun!

I have an idea for a new company: Funeral Parlor
Since we have the church and the graveyard it only seems suitable for Torn. First are the job specials:

1* - 1 job point - 2-3 nerve
3* - Passive - +10% melee damage
5* - 3 job points - Special Flower
7* - 200 job points - Reveals last 5 attackers of a person
10* - Passive - 15% enemy defense reduction

This is the items (stock) that the company offers:
Funeral flowers - $5 - RRP 15$
Cremation - Can not be ordered - RRP 250$
Coffin Burial- Can not be ordered - RRP 1000$
Tribal Burial - Can not be ordered - RRP 5000$

Job positions:
RS = Recommended Stats
SG = Stat Gains
Funeral Director - RS: 18,000 INT / 9,000 END - SG: 54 INT / 28 END
Ceremonialist - RS: 14,000 MAN / 7,000 END - SG: 52 MAN / 26 END

So I made a new fun thread for you to read. Hope you enjoy!

I was eating burek when Duke messaged me that his house stinks too much because of the dump next to him. He told me to clean it up because he does not feel like moving. I would also get 4 mission credits:

My mission

So before I started, I decided to do some math on how long it would take.

1. Doing it by myself:

To clean the dump, you need 5 energy. No, not the whole dump, but 1 item from it. And how many items are in the dump? Well, currently, there is 164,941,058 items there. Yes, thats a lot.

Duke also stopped all new incoming items, so Torn citizens are throwing their trash on the streets. That means the number wont increase anymore.

2. How many energy can I spend in 1 day?

Every day I will not be sleeping, meaning that I use all of my daily natural energy, which is 720 energy. I will also be using 4 xanax every day, which is another 1000 energy. And because I can, im using an energy refill too.

That means I have 1870 energy to spend daily.

1870 energy a day can help me remove 374 items. That is a lot of items, but its not a lot either.

374 items getting removed a day is 0.000227% of the dump. This number scares me, because I dont even understand it. Anyways, in a week I can clear 2618 items being 0.00159%, or 11220 items of 0.0068%.

To clear the whole dump myself, it would take me 441,019 days. In normal time, that is: 1207 Years, 5 Months and 20 days. Oh...

I think I might need some help....

3. Cleaning the dump with the help of every active person in Torn:

There was 43,273 users online in the last 24 hours. With more people joining to Torn and being active, I will round up that number to 45000 players (because I can).

With the power of 45000 daily users each spending 1870 energy in a day, we can remove a total of 16,830,000 items in 1 day. Thats 10.2098% of all the items. We all together would clean the dump in about:

10 days!

Having so many more players clearing the dump would be kinda fast. I dont know how we would share the 4 mission credits tho...

4. Conclusion

As I can't get 45000 helpers, or anyone for that matter, it will take me about 11 lives to clean the whole dump. But of course, I will have to reject the mission, meaning that Duke will take ** ****** * *** and ******* ****.

Hi, it’s BONK.

For the last time.

You may know me, you might have heard of me before, but most of you haven’t. This is my last post on Torn, I have finally decided to leave. And before you ask, no, you can’t have my stuff.

First, my Torn story…. Yeah blah blah who cares…maybe someone will read it I guess. I started playing Torn 2 weeks after my spouse Korado, who is my real life best friend. I showed him the ad for Torn back then, and after he tried it, I’ve joined too. I only played for a day and quit, but a year later, I joined back up and from there, I have logged on every single day for the past 1267 days. I met many great people, a few bad ones too, but it was great. It was something new to do, and Torn pulled me in like it has many others.

You might be wondering why I’m leaving the game. Well, there are a few reasons.

I feel like Torn served its purpose to me. There is nothing exciting anymore about it, nothing feels new or improved, there isn’t much fun. The only reason I stayed at first is because of all the great people that I met.
Recent updates made Torn so much less enjoyable for me. Instead of them being something that made spending time on Torn more fun, it makes Torn feel way more like some annoying chore, even if its just the little things. Some of you will know that feeling for sure.
I want to change my focus in real life (yes, a Torn person has a life outside of it). I’ve got a great friend group, and I want to spend more time with them and not constantly check my phone for events or messages or whatever. It bothers me and I have finally decided to change it.

Now, there are some people I would like to thank for the best experience I’ve had. (I think) they are sorted by time I met them.

Korado – of course, without him I would never be here. He quit a year ago, and even the year before he didn’t play much. But with all the stuff we did together on Torn, it was awesome. Of course, we still go out drinking every week.

Hippie – from my first faction, Hippie really helped me become strong, do the right things and upgrades, helped with merits and everything, she has left torn out of nowhere sadly.

Faction Darkside and leader Tash – my first proper faction, they have helped me grow so much, even if it was for a very short time. Thank you, guys! I will never forget my first ever Ranked War with them, when we were selected for first ever testing!

kelfi – great friend over 3 years now, just a nice person to talk to, if I had any issues or ahem money needs, she was there to help me out anytime and trusted me. I really appreciate that

Faction Dead or Alive – My second faction, I have stayed there for a year, and ive met a lot of great people too. They took me in when I was very small, and they helped me grow a lot.

Gossip Club – So many great people in there, been a part for a long time know and we always have a good time.

Runa – another great person I met while playing, always a pleasure to talk to.

Faction PT-Calculated and the whole PT Family – so many amazing people here too, I couldn’t do it without you guys, been here for 2 years and it’s been perfect. I could not have asked for a better faction/family with better and cooler people. Ive talked more with some, less with others but I love them all.

Escensio Incursus - Great people, took me in for a month to do a few wars. Everyone is so nice and funny there.

Nightrise – Great person, a pleasure to talk to (and trade with). He helped me sort out all my stuff when I quit.

There are also some more people I want to mention, I know them and trust them, as they are good people:

Celesteela, Lollipop, The_Boss123, Skixx, LowLevelCarrot, Ghost_Helsing, Gem, Duke-Of-Torn, MayJailer, Wendy, Space, mxxx, SameSlo, bethink, jules, dlothar, Shrek, Oran, YoLlama, Lils, Jexxic, Wenno, cookdandbombd, Fexalan, Vrocks, DocDoge1011, ComaVision, Barry_Dylan, Biggles, Kaga, Lohkee, VladBull, CapMaster and everyone else I forgot.

These are just some of the people that made my experience in Torn better.
