Hello everyone,

I’m here to warn you not to engage in any trades or deals with Spiffie. I will update this post later tonight with full details. I apologize for not providing everything right now, but I’m currently busy with my baby in real life.

What I can say at this moment is that Spiffie was behind a major scam about nine months ago. He never made things right, and I was one of his victims. Along with others, I initially agreed to give him another chance. The idea was to let him rebuild his nw and perhaps repay us gradually over time.

However, after monitoring his activity, I realized that he is gambling heavily in the casino, losing tens of billions again, and actively borrowing cash from other players. Seeing this behavior repeat itself convinced me that giving him another chance was a mistake.

Therefore, I have given up hope of ever being repaid, even though Spiffie continues to claim that he intends to do so. I decided instead to protect the community and prevent him from creating more victims.

Every part of this post i got proofs for. As I mentioned earlier, I apologize for not going into full detail immediately, but I felt that things escalated too much today. I cannot allow him even a few more hours to potentially set up new schemes and scams without warning you the community.

If any of you have any questions or feel like you have additional information or anything, please do engage by replying to my post, so I can provide as much info as possible later when I edit this.

Thank you everyone for your patience. This story started a little over a year ago. I had finally achieved 3 goals in my life, 2 in Torn (50b nw and monopoly merit) and 1 far more important in real life where i found out I was pregnant after many years of trying. I was advised to stay at home already in early pregnancy and to take as much care of myself as possible. 

Staying at home meant I could spend a lot more time playing Torn and a lot more time chatting to people. During one of those times in 39X faction chat the subject was investing torn money and Spiffie's name came up often as someone who is quite good with running companies and many other aspects of Torn's gameplay. I decided to contact him and after several chats he explained in details the possibility of investing into oil rig companies that he ran. Basically fresh capital enabled him to keep buying new companies and with his recruiting skills, setups and loyal directors he would get them to 18 man and 4-5* range fairly quickly and yield solid profits out of them. His investors were being paid weekly dividends that equated company profits minus director's and his cuts. Math was mathing, ROI was not too good to be true, but it was sure better than a lot of stocks and I ended up investing 39 billions with him over a short period of time.

For about 4 months everything was perfect. Not only were the dividends always paid on time, but he was also the most friendly and useful person ever. He taught me a lot during this time and I honestly had no idea what would soon gonna happen. Few days before New Year he sent me like half of my weekly dividend, told me to bear with him and he logged off and didn't log back in for i believe almost 3 months. What is also worth mentioning is that on December 31st his NW hit 0.

15 days had passed since his last login (so we're talking about january 15th cca here) and I didn't talk to anyone about anything. I thought it's the holiday season and the guy simply took some time off. After that I decided to talk to 39th leadership, asking about his whereabouts and I was told that as far as they knew he had exams and is taking time off until March/April. I thought to myself that he could have told me that himself, but once again I decided to simply wait till March/April because I still had high opinion of him and didn't think he would actually scam me. 

However sometimes in February I learned that I was not the only one who had invested cash with him. A factionmate brooksey was also down about 16b. Prior to that day I never talked to brooks one on one, but that day we started conversing (and today i consider him one of my best torn friends) and we turned into proper Sherlock and Watson. We went thru gazillion discord messages, chats, forum posts, paid friends/enemy list reveals and whatnot, all in order to try to piece together as many pieces of puzzle as possible. Our findings were pretty much clear indicators that he simply gambled away all his cash and vanished and we also got 39th leadership a bit more interested in trying to help us. We found out there were still 1.5 rigs owned by Spiffie ran by people within 39th. One was run by Bluntforce and the other one was owned half by Spiffie and half by Starlord. After a month of shennanigans I was given ownership of Bluntforce's rig and Brooks got some cash from me and from Starlord, effectively cutting out losses a little bit. I will be honest here and say that while i know 39th didnt have obligation to help me they still did to an extent and I am grateful for that (altho Spiffie replied to this thread saying they're no angels)

During this period I did manage to contact spiffie a few times thru discord or Torn. I also managed to find several new victims of his. He was telling different stories to all of us about what had happened. There were supposed thefts of his rigs, there were irl accidents, broken bones, home invasions and God knows what else which made things completely clear if they weren't up until then. He did infact have my support to try and make a comeback twice. First time in April when he suggested we should sell Bluntforce rig for 25b and start 2 new ones and keep doing that until he makes money back. That story was cool, if a person in Torn existed willing to buy a 4* 18 man rig for 25b. Other was about a month or two ago when I somehow pursuaded people to let him play again. I figured our money is lost anyway, so if i spoke to him nicely and told him we would let him rebuild his nw if he slowly repaid us there was nothing to lose and possibly something to gain. 

He started playing again but i monitored his activities daily, from forum, to casino, to bazaar and everything else I could think of. He quickly rose to 110+b nw, but instead of paying people back his casino losses increased by over 50b.  He did indeed at one point send me 500m, but never did we agree that he would build and sell rigs to pay me back. I started talking to people who I noticed he traded with, to people I knew he used to talk before and, as i suspected, some of them told me he started borrowing money again, making weird offers, investment opportunities etc. One of those guys also told me that apart from asking for billions in loans, at one point when his nw was up, he offered RMT of his nw to that person. I kindly asked that person to report that to staff and I talked about it to bogie myself. I believe this issue is being handled atm.

I am also aware that he completely ignored some of the messages sent to him from his other victims and the combination of all of the above made me make peace (again) with not recovering my losses. Maybe I could have kept quiet and maybe he really would reimburse some of it over time, but I really didn't want to be given money scammed from his new victims, and it was obvious to me things were moving that way. Therefore, last night i decided to talk to his leader:

I always liked spiffie. He was a very good torn player and always knew how to grow much faster than others

Which is why i pursuaded others to let him play again and build back wealth to slowly pay us back

Sadly all I see him doing is wasting more money in casino and i recently got intel about him sweettalking people into new investments, borrowing cash and pretty much all I can see is new victims in making

That is the reason why im talking to you. If anyone of you has any monetary connections to spiffie atm, cut them asap before you become one of the victims

I will also in close future be asking you to kick him as his behavior most likely leads to all of us involved wanting him out of the game completely

Dont get me wrong, i would still prefer if he maned up and slowly started repaying people but so far from his actions he seems to be doing the opposite and we will not let it go down that way. There is too much money involved to let it slide. So my messages to you are primarily in order to keep you and your other members safe from him

As you can see from this chatlog, nowhere did I threaten his faction leader or him, I simply decided to warn people about him before they start losing their stuff like I did. So today Spiffie saw that as an opportunity and messaged me on discord saying now when you threaten you will not be getting anything (as if i would be anyway).

Spiffie is a slimy little f**ker who will tell you exactly what you wanna hear, but I believe it's time for him to leave this game. Sure he can be interesting at times, but I believe in this community to expell scammers, especially ones who never apologized and who kept doing what they do even after being given a second chance.

Why didn't I wait till I had time to make the full post right away?  - I honestly didn't wanna give him half a day of time to try to scam more people. Things escalated between us today and I saw anger and panic in his words and I thought he might go thru with more mischief. Some of you mocked me a little bit for that, but if it saved even one person from being scammed, in my eyes it's worth it.

Did he offer to sell you an overpriced oil rig based on ROI by any chance xd  - Is there a single person he didn't try to concince its worth, what was it, 23b?

Never had any issues w/ Spiffie paying me back. Why don't you show proof for these allegations?  - Well he admitted I'm not lying so I think proofs are redundant, but I got about few hundreds screenshots I can show if you message me on discord.

I don't care about the money I lost. It was my fault I invested with a degenerate gambler. I apologize to all of you if my half-assed post from today got you pissed, but I still feel it was a fair warning to community. Now that I am aware that he's a complete and utter douchebag (which I should have been aware of  completely when he scammed 39b off me during high and risky pregnancy) I hope that this community will show it doesn't want such personas among us.
