Seeing this thread, and only being able to buy 5 (Axes) today while stalking everyones bazaar listed and being awake since 1AM has officially proven to me that I have the worst RNG ever Also never found an SE in the City ever
If this isn't resolved by Torn staffs, then the individual involved can take it up to the local police, it would be better that way, cause the rules here states that as a hate speech but if torn staffs are being biased here then, the issue should be reported to the local authorities and taken up.
Torn is a game, where we come to have fun, not a place to build hate. Please resolve this issue as urgent as possible. You would not like to witness such on Torn, especially if you come from a religious war-torn northern community. It builds hate, that many keep for years .
If insulting a religious figure isn't hate, then I don't know what the staffs are doing, to be honest here. This little thing you overlook here on Torn, has brought severe killings and wars in Nigeria and other Northern parts, especially insulting a religious figure, isn't something people here take lightly.
Please in other to avoid similar hate , it's better to probably issue a warning to such individual or give a forum ban or temporary ban, as a warning. Things like this aren't taken lightly by most people.
It's practically impossible to compete with top players, due to the level of time they've spent here, amount of money spent to build battle stats. Though all of this can be achieved by buying bunch of donator packs.
A player spending real money, can easily achieve 400+ awards in less than 500days and a huge Battle stats in about 500days. Something that would take a normal players years to achieve lol. Maybe one day I would be a huge spender. You know spending over a million dollars on Torn would be nice lol. Don't worry ched, I'll do that soon.
The banning of advertising is uncalled for, New players benefit from this a lot. Cause which other way do you want a new player to make money? Unless he do adverts, buy Donator packs, get help from a stable or wealthy player.
If every way and method to make money for newbies are being blocked then, how the hell do ched wants new players to flock the game? How the hell do you want them to survive before they reach lvl 15?.
It's no longer the free Torn that we all know it as. It's more like forcing newbies to buy donator packs at their beginning days to get to lvl 15,then hustle their way by flying.
Newbies, if you find it hard to make cash at the beginning, probably it is high time you start flocking chats of staffs and committee members, maybe they'll feel your pain through that. Thank you.
Hmmmm, I've noticed somethings, in my little time on Torn.com, The after effect of scamming which is "BOUNTIES" have little to no effect on big stats players due to "There are less players who could attack or win a fight against them"
Putting them on enemy list also has little to no effect on them also due to "They have big stats that many faction leaders, are willing to forget every bad history they ever had, just to have them in their faction".
When a Noob or low stats player scams, the community frowns at it, but when a big stats player scams billions, the community cheer and laugh at it xd.(Skill issue).
To be honest here, I won't advise anyone to put your hard earned cash stored in a faction vault or invested in some sort of stock fund, when you could use that money yourself or donate it to the " Torn Church" - The priest would be very grateful lol.
I don't believe or will believe that the community frowns at scammers (unless it's a little sum that can't make history or a noob doing the scam, hahahaha). We just have to live with it and accept it's a legitimate gameplay (moreover it's a crime game, so it should be legal), and learn better ways to keep our hard earned cash save and out of the hands of Scammers.
