Tiermaker link - feel free to make your own
My Qualifications
I'm bored waiting for halloween lol. I did most of the crimes. I also went unique-hunting and have all uniques (except two in shoplifting :P )
Disclaimer: 99% of the time I don't read flavor text since I have too much nerve for that. So that isn't taken into account
The Tiers
As a filthy casual I rated solely on fun-ness, I don't care if a crime makes $4.6k/nerve or increases NNB 15% faster
S - The peak of what Crimes 2.0 has done so far. Really fun and creative, please do more stuff like this
A - These were fun and I actively enjoyed getting these to 100
B - Bit repetitive, but pleasant to level for one reason or another
C - Crimes 1.0-type grinding. Click a button over and over
D - I got annoyed doing these

Explanations
Search For Cash (S)
Maybe it was the novelty from being the first crime released, but it's still my favorite.
++The experience of getting the metal detector and cemetery key uniques was awesome - really satisfying obtaining an item that unlocked a new area that way. I also sold each for like 70m which was great lol
++Each area has its own unique conditions for success% - it's still really cool to me that the subway is based on player activity
+Tons of uniques to hunt
Scamming (S)
+++Enjoyed plotting out a "path" for each target, which is different each time. Each one feels like a little puzzle to solve.
++Critical fails are done really well - if you want, it's possible to do everything with zero crit fails
-The "Concerned" (purple) outcome is annoying.. the success rate to resolve them is too low. I basically ditch all of them
-Pretty slow start before you have a lot of emails at once, annoying to only get like 3 emails a day
Hustling (A)
++Creative mechanic. IDK how to phrase it but this crime gives me a feeling of pulling off a "job" - I make preparations with Gather/Hype, then sorta improvise with the bets to rake in as much as I can. It's like one big crime with 50 mini-steps.
+Enjoyed the experience of unlocking each technique and getting a noticeably higher success rate.
+Think this is the one crime where having a ton of nerve at once actually helps
Shoplifting (A)
++Tons of uniques. Enjoyed seeing a new combination of disabled cameras/guards and getting new loot I haven't seen before
+Lots of cross-crime items attained from this crime. Any cross-crime mechanic in my opinion is really cool
-A couple of the combinations are too rare, I'm tired of waiting :'(
Bootlegging (B)
+The experience of selling a ton of DVDs at once after stockpiling a bunch in each genre is super satisfying
Burglary (B)
+Tons of uniques. The last few were annoying to look for since you have to spam Scout
+Cool loot
-For the really hard targets, didn't like having multiple fails and having to wait 40 mins multiple times all for a single target
Disposal (B)
+Enjoyed the experience of 'checking' on the available jobs, it kinda felt like a daily quest mechanic. Besides that a little repetitive, but at least the leveling rate is fast so you can get CS100 before it feels super grindy
Card Skimming (C)
+Repetitive, but like Disposal it offers players a choice between rushing to level vs. being slower but more efficient
+I like the gas stations, it feels like I have a Crime Experience bank
Cracking (C)
+The rig layouts are.. a cool mechanic. haha get it. I feel like this is either your favorite mechanic so far from Crimes 2.0, or you don't care at all and just copied a layout from forum (me)
+After you have a set layout, this is basically a Crimes 1.0 crime where you click a button over and over until your nerve is empty
+Whoops, in retrospect I should've rated this higher (low B?), I liked the mechanic of guessing characters
Graffiti (C)
+Another Crimes 1.0 type crime. The mechanic for unlocking the new areas was cool but didn't feel as special as with Search for Cash for some reason
Forgery (D)
I like the idea of some kind of crafting system as a crime but I did not enjoy forgery lol
-Felt really slow in both 1) waiting for cooldowns to finish 2) leveling speed
-Crit fails happen pretty frequently and there isn't really much you can do
-At the start of the crime the economy of the forging components was messed up and I felt really limited in which ones I could do
-The "reward" for each forgery are items that we still don't know the function of. As a result the payoff of doing this crime felt ambiguous/unsatisfying
Pickpocketing (D)
--I have a lot of nerve throughout the day and the experience of slowly spending 5 nerve every minute-ish 1800x was painful
-Progression is wayy slower without reading a guide and knowing at what level you can do which targets. Maybe this is my skill issue. This was the only crime where I just gave up and completely followed Emforus's guide
Overall
Crimes 2.0 is a lot more interesting than Crimes 1.0 and my favorite update since I joined the game (even more than halloween or ranked warring lol). Respect to Crimes 2.0 designers
I think staff mentioned somewhere that there will be 30+ crimes total? Which is pretty crazy to imagine. Hoping for more unique creative mechanics in the future - as wacky as you can get without seriously un-hinging overall Torn balance
-> I kinda want a "griefing" mechanic, like mugging other players but using Crime Experience instead of battle stats
Thoughts?
