I feel like specifically for property airstrip and private jets there should be an option to tell the pilot to turn around and head back. I mean, if it's your personal private plane, can't you make last minute changes to schedule? It should take the same amount of time as current time traveled to go back to your previous location. There should definitely be a cap on it (I'm thinking only 1 turn around per flight) to prevent players from being in a flight loop indefinitely.

I think it would be fun for the fuel system to be based on RNG and there's a higher risk with turning around the further you go, and don't know whether you will crash or not
Example of crashing mechanic: You ran out of fuel when attempting to turn the plane around, but locals in [Country] brought you to the nearest hospital for Xh XXm XXs and kept $XXX,XXX of the money you were carrying as compensation. XX:XX:XX
I want to ensure this feature is risky so taking a percentage of the money you're carrying would add to that, and after a plane crash I think you should be hospitalized for a good some hours
24hour cap to this feature (3 current possibilities)
Total travel ban for 24 hours, pilots are unhappy you caused a disturbance to schedule and refuse to fly for 24 hours (Suggestion by ExarionThar)
Unable to turn around for 24 hours, still able to fly but pilots are unwilling to put up with any more shenanigans
If you cause a crash, pilots refuse to fly for 24h after getting out of the hospital (assuming the pilot also took this long to recover before warning other pilots)
Alternately, you go through air traffic control instead of it being the pilot's decision (Suggestion by Sanxion)
Turn around is either immediately approved, delayed approved, or denied
Alternatively, you need an education requirement to unlock ability to hijack a plane (Suggestion by Max2020)
Unlocks ability to turn around and also being able to fly to nearby countries without first returning to Torn
This would limit the feature for those renting PI's, only planes that are owned by the player can turn around
Definitely not a top priority suggestion but the amount of times I've flown 2-3 hours somewhere only for my brain to mysteriously turn into soup and forget to make a purchase is quite embarrassing and being able to fix my mistake before flying another 2-3 hours all the way back to Torn and another 2-3 hours back overseas would be great. Also helpful in the case of taking a flight and then realizing you're needed back in Torn for some emergency reason and being able to tell the pilot to turn that baby around, your people need ya!

Just wanted to include as many possibilities of it as I could for inspiration when implementing the idea (if it gets implemented). I do not expect EVERY single suggestion to be added, they're just versions of the idea that the community has spoken up about wanting. I wanted to compile them all in the post rather than being lost to the pages of me bumping this thread. I personally would love the limited fuel and crashing mechanic so I put it at the top with the most detailed example. The suggestions afterwards are all other possibilities of how the general "turn around" feature could be implemented other than crashing and burning, which not everyone is a fan of. To help clarify this I've decided to highlight the bulleted list in pretty colors and organize the post a bit better :)

I agree with Promaxian that this could easily be rigged. Are you regularly keeping cash on your person? If not, most mugs will just be $0. Unless of course, someone sends you a heap of money or buys from your bazaar before mugging you.
And you could totally plan on just having $0 at all times during the event until one of your friends comes around and is ready to mug, in which case you grab a few stacks of cash before they attack.
I also agree 25% for house is wayyy too high. You're offering a $100m prize but you're only actually giving $75m? Only offer what you're willing to pay out.
This sounds like a weird way to try and get free defends out of lower stat players who don't know better
I don't see how it would be a scam as OP isn't asking for anything. All they request is you reply, which you did, and now you're eligible to potentially win 1m :P
I appreciate the feedback! I see it as something small I thought would be neat to have in my day to day Torn life and therefore there are others who have thought of something similar as well. Why is my version of the idea the only one that should be highlighted over the others who would also like to see it be put in the game? I'm also hoping having a wide variety of options leads to more fleshed out implementation when this suggestion gets considered as well.
