Oh man. What a roller coaster of emotions.

I started out thinking this was a funny lil' tip to some quick easy money for people but alas! I was Shyamalan'd into feeling great concern that a decent and generally honest trader is being wrekt on here through no fault of their own by hungry thieves with dillar sigbs for eyes and even maybe in danger IRL. I was then filled with a warm fuzzy feeling that LS are protecting Heart as best they can because as Vin Diesel said "Family" or something. Finally, I was confused by the memes because I'm f**ked in the head and have wandering brain.

Yep, came to report the same thing. Thought restarting PDA might work but same issue still. 

100% right. My experience has been like this. There are definitely people who seem to have immunity for whatever reason and some who can get you fedded for sneezing. 

Sanctum I'm sorry you're dealing with this, you're not alone here though. If they did this IRL, that's massive though. Way past just getting a warning or fedded. Should be locked up or start a whole "Don't f**k with Cats" movement.

You're also not alone with addiction (and oversharing 😅). I went through some bad addiction problems I'm still sorting out, wound up in jail and a mental unit and had my dad die at the same time. I lost it for a while and a faction we were warring changed their bio to make back handed comments about my dad dying and my mental health. They then got me fedded for responding to them right as they blocked me for "bypassing blocks". Then made their faction banner a screenshot of me being fedded. Then changed the faction name to insult me more and added crying laughing emojis. Then got my IRL spouse permabanned for being a multi (she wasn't). It was a big player as well. Staff didn't do anything but give me a second warning for changing my bio and name to insult them and told me to get over it basically. 

So please know it's not just you, you don't deserve it and we all get grief on here and get ignored a lot of the time if we report. Just hope it get's better for you on and off here and the f**kers get whats coming to them.

You're not wrong though, for a game set around being hardened criminals, people are pretty shook when players act like... hardened criminals.

Terrorising IRL and taking TORN off here to the real world and vice versa is a direct violation of TOS, specifically scroll down to Harassment:

• Harassment

  Causing the distress of a player while using the personal information or potential appearance of them, their family, or their friends. This includes real-world threats and repeated verbal cyberbullying of which the victim is unable to avoid with the block / ignore features

Report them, the admin don't care about a lot of stuff but they take that stuff seriously. Trust me, I didn't do anything remotely close to IRL terrorising and got this in my inbox:

I said someone has old gross boobs but it was written on my profile so they couldn't technically block seeing it so I was still bypassing blocks and harassing beyond reason. It was dumb and I was in a shit place mentally and being a menace for no reason, but I own it, learned from it, all that business. 

Just saying, if it's serious as you say, tell the TORN Staff, the cops, The Police (the band), SVU, FBI and tell your mother to call theirs and have a word with them. Plenty of avenues you can take past blocking. 

Oh damn, wish I'd seen this earlier, I get bulk foreign items from my job as a perk, got 100x Nodding Turtles the other day. From now on you get all of them.

*Edit: I went and got 100 off the market to send you to show my dedication  to this new thing I just discovered and will obsess over for a while.

I got 12 so far this year, 32 overall. Hoping for another couple since just now finishing up overseas travel.

I remember I used to get salty about getting mugged and message people about it then one day you mugged me for a few million. The second I saw your name and how much mugging is a major part of your play style was the moment I got over being mugged in the game. Looked at your profile and signature and realising it is part of the game and just pixel money, instead of being a bitch and messagung I said to myself "there is nothing I can say here they don't get told on the daily, this is on me" and I decided to just get better at not keeping cash on me and not being an easy target to spot.

So thank you for that, I guess. I haven't been mugged for a significant amount since and have even congratulated muggers at times for how quick they got me or asked for tips on how not to get spotted or how to avoid it in the future etc. One even gave me money back for being cool about it and took me off his factions (a big multi one) Discord mug alerts. 

So no bombs or Jehovahs Witness pamphlets?

I might be crazy, but feel like you should just play as whatever you want to be and if that is male or female regardless of how you present IRL, then do that. Doesn't have to be exactly the same as who you are outside of Torn, even if it's similar. Also, in my experience the more you try and get people (mods, players, anyone) to listen to your problems on here, the louder they tell you to STFU.

IRL I am on probation for several things including (allegedly) substances and public firearms  charges amongst others. I can't legally handle a weapon for a decade or drive a vehicle unmonitored. However in Torn I can still drink 24 beers, take PCP, go race my car, help someone dispose of a body then commit multiple violent felonies with my gang and my IRL corrections officer will never know! The beauty of role playing.

Wow, Dede doing some Scroogey cheap slippery shit when money is on the line? Wouldn't have believed it if I didn't see it here.

Also, someone should be taking bets now on Dede paying up or not. 

Ways I kill time which I seem to be doing a lot:

• Compare stats to everyone in your faction, find a really useless one that you beat everyone in, like "most PCP taken" and brag endlessly in the faction chat.
• Stare at the points market and buy a few thousand at a time then sell when they are worth a few bucks more making a cool  couple of grand while risking a mugging of millions.
• Make mortal enemies with a high level, super aggressive player for no reason who will bounty you up to 400 times a month and make you one of the top 1000 bountied players ever and then raids your faction single-handedly out of spite, returning sporadically to do it again. 
• Make mortal enemies with another faction's leader until they demand your faction kick you or you pay them $100m.
• Make mortal enemies with yet another faction's leader that convinces admin to fed your spouse, fed you briefly, caution you twice and officially warn all within a week. 
• Find a link to Christmas Town and go walk around there and hope there is something yo find (there isn't)
• Go through random player ID numbers and see if you can find anyone weird or any NPCs (there are a lot early on in the double digits)
• Look at past Mr/Mrs Torn winners. Laugh at the 2010's emo hair cuts. See if any of them are hot or even still playing.
• Check out this site and see if there are any $1 items in shops you can purchase. 

There's probably more But reset just happened.

I'm pretty sure as long as they aren't flat out insulting anyone particular in the username (or even if they are) they'll be safe.

The way staff choose the things they enforce and don't is an absolute enigma. I think they pull help request tickets out of a hat or something.
