You don't have to give a shit about someone's biological sex to call them what they want to be callled: it is not like the entirety of Western Civilsation™ will crumble into the f**king ocean because someone was addressed with their pronouns.
Respect goes both ways: if you are unable to extend even the basic courtesy of acknowledging your opponents identity and humanity, then why should you expect everyone to be all smiling and shit.
Last thing I want is a bunch of twats who have a propensity to be all high and mighty about one's gonads and hormone composition determining other people's identity for them; one hell of a slippery slope.
I mean, women who don't look conventionally feminine (like having short hair or broad shoulders) will have a harder time in society because they don't look like a pornstar. This also applies to men who don't look "manly" enough (like soft features)
Just let people be.
Edit:
if you think you're a frog or a can of soda pop, i'm not going to call you those things because it makes you feel better about yourself. grow up.

It is none of anyone's business if they say they are a pop, a frog, gay, trans, cis, straight, Hindu, Muslim or any other characteristic.
I respect their decision because at the end of the day it doesn't have a big effect on me.
In fact getting pissy over other people's identities because they are unconventional is childish: like here you are playing THE IDENTITY POLICE, appointing yourself with the duty of pulling over and correcting randos who have an unconventional identity like an even shittier Adam Ruins Everything.
It is like names; if someone wants to be called Billiam (example name), it would be a waste of time, effort and wellbeing to be like "akshually, your name is William because Billiam isn't an actual name."
I just call them by their given name and repect their identities. As they wanted. No ifs or buts.

Disclaimer: you are putting whatever you bet at risk so don't put anything you are willing to lose.
Ancap's strategy works and can work for a while (20 streak of wins can attest to that) until it goes wrong, like picking up pennies in front of a steamroller.
Be very aware that the receipts channel doesn't show the full extent of bets that Ancap has disclosed but rather just wins.
Disclosure: I had a good streak with Ancap, peaking at $101m from $53m due to his bets before losing it all last night.
I am lucky this hasn't severely fucked with my net worth but it has messed with my risk appetite.
I have submitted multiple comics to the newspaper over the months and some of them have been rejected (either with a reason or not).
There is just one problem...
It doesn't show which submitted comic was rejected!
Now if comics were processed as they came, I wouldn't see the issue (just go back in time), but in the revelation that comics can be held back for certain times it can add further confusion.
I currently have six comics waiting to be approved or denied by Sugarvalves and the team.
I understand very well that Sugarvalves is very busy so I shouldn't expect an instant reply; however it has gotten to the point where comics about certain issues that may be time sensitive (for example Torncon or Senor Chonk) have been stuck in purgatory long past the very issues they are about.
Can comics be held back from publication to a more appropriate date or are comics only instantly approved or denied.
I have a couple questions in mind regarding CT loot spawn rates:
1. Is there a base chance of encountering a Mystery Gift, Chest or Key for everyone or does it vary between players? 2. If there is a set base chance of spawning, are the spawn chance ornaments additive or multiplicative in their effects (e.g. an ornament that adds 10% to a base rate of 10% either leads to 20% or 11% of spawning loot) 3. Does CT calculate the chances of spawning loot every unit of movement made, every second of time spent in it or some other factor?
Apologies if any of this seems obvious, I would like to have it available in writing for future reference.
In collaboration with JunkieFund , I am holding a contest around the following theme: What does overdosing feel like?
You can create whatever pieces you desire; paint it, draw it, type it, compose it. Submissions close on Sunday 19:00 TCT and results will come shortly afterwards.
