I really don't recommend you start your own faction right now. First, most people buy an existing faction, since starting truly from scratch is a nightmare.
And second, you are a new account, you are still figuring out the game. Running a faction is really hard, and your decisions effect the people who join. At least join a couple other factions first so you can even understand how they work.
In fact, I would straight up pay for you to start a faction if you could prove to me that you would be a good leader. But I doubt that is possible at your level/experience.
This is not meant to insult you, but really take that kind of thing seriously and learn from people who know this game better.
And also yes, don't be a beggar. It puts bad attention on you, and if you did start a faction like this, people might attack it or you just for doing something like this. People like players who work for what they have.
I am the gossip. Ignore all public announcements that didn't come from me, and if you think I'm lying, let someone who has made PAs counterclaim.
The PAs I have made:
Day 1: No red players have PM'd yet (1 death) Day 2: The demon has a number in their name. (No deaths, will talk more about this below.) Day 3: The demon has an a in their name (2 deaths)
So Day 2 is potentially the most information giving, since there were no deaths. If someone knows they successfully protected someone that night, if you don't think that outing yourself is a good idea, at least keep that in mind if we move forward assuming this information is correct, and stop us from being dumb about it.
Since I am not told whether or not a death comes from my ability, I do think N1 could have been me. If this is accurate, meaning my gossip was true, that would mean S2K, Opal, TV, Sh4, Feather, and Denmon were not red day 1.
As far as this last night, 2 is too many deaths to be sure whether or not my PA was true. I was hoping for 0 deaths again, because that would have ruled out around half the list of being the demon as opposed to the 4 names (Daisy, Feather, S2K, and Sh4) that were ruled out as demon from Day 2.
Also, what should I gossip today? I have been trying to make them as helpful as I can, but it is getting harder to do so with all the extra information flying around, and the risk of a random death is too much of a hazard to be making random gossips.
Coordinates change as you do previous steps. If you are having this hard a time, maybe it reset you to before you did all the previous steps and you need to complete them again?
If you ever change your mind, just try being led before leading. You wouldn't go to a construction site and start telling people what to do when you've never worked that job before.
If you join a faction instead of starting one yourself, and listen to advice, you could easily learn enough to be a good leader in the future.
Either way, good luck. And I'm glad you stopped blaming others for tour failures, that is a big step of personal growth.
Ferret led the first faction I ever joined. It was just a shell and they got noobs like me to join just to they could use a DB, but it ended up being a good story, and a lesson in not just joining any faction that offers lol.
