Hey everyone, just want to spread some light to people like myself. I consider myself a Christian who follows the teachings of the bible. With that being said I don't do things that are common in our current day and age. For example, clubbing/partying, getting drunk, having sex before marriage, etc.
I don't hate any group or other religions by any means. Just because we don't share the same values doesn't mean I hate you. We just won't be attending the same events.
So with that being said, Ask Me Anything whether it's bible related, God-related, or just a personal question. Not here to attack any groups/religion, but to have a conversation!
Update July 9 2023 - woah this post blew up and excited that we are able to ask questions and share different points!(In your own expressive way I may add lol) I’m not avoiding any questions I’m currently on the road with my family and church choir as we are performing this weekend soooooooooo pretty busy. But best believe when I find time, I’ll keep on answering the questions!
Update July 17 2023 - Sorry for being MIA, I am currently in Mexico with my church and family giving clothes, food, and hosting services out here so I have been super busy and barely been able to answer questions.
Once I land back to the US tomorrow, I plan to rapid fire answer all questions!!!
As I've stated in previous posts, the ability to speak to people and speak about different ideologies and beliefs is so important in today's society and I think regardless you are a Christian, Atheist, or Satanist, we should all be able to express our beliefs with all respect and love to each other. So with that in mind, I have a new topic I want to bring up.
With the order and design of the universe and how fine-tuned the universe is to maintain life, with the fine-tuning of our DNA and the proper order they need to be to make the proper amino acids for humans to function, and many other reasons, I think it is more probable that there is a higher being/God than that there isn't.
Again I can't prove it because science at its current state can not prove nor disprove God, so I am simply going based on the knowledge that we have now through science and through the logic that we as humans can understand to make a conclusion.
With the logic that I know, something can never come from nothing. Something must come from something when speaking about our universe and our logic. More so, whenever something is designed and intricate, it always comes from an intelligent designer and never from nothing. I can see the Mona Lisa and know that an intelligent mind designed it. I can go to the Roman Coliseum and confidently say an intelligent mind created and designed it. Since I can conclude that the universe is designed and intricate, that there had to be some designer behind it.
Curious to hear everyone's take and point of view on this, whether it's in agreement or disagreement.
TLDR; Due to the order and design of the universe, I believe it is more probable to say that a Higher Being/God exists than to say otherwise. (Ask Me Anything)
***Disclaimer: Yes I am a Christian and believe in the Bible and Jesus but for this prompt, I want to stick to the science and logical side of this conversation. Anything involving the Bible or Christianity should redirect themselves to the other post I have*****
Not gonna lie, I genuinely enjoyed the conversation that I had in my previous post and wanted to extend the topic to a singular topic which is Jesus. This is the foundation of the Christian beliefs, (at least it should be). With that, there are different arguments involving Jesus whether he was only a prophet, not a God, he didn't exist, etc.
Let's talk about it. Let's have a conversation about it and feel free to question my belief.
My Belief: Jesus is the Son of God who came down to heaven in human form to save us from our sins by dying on the cross for us. He then resurrected after 3 days and after addressing his disciples in his resurrected form, he ascended to heaven. Jesus himself is God but separate from God the father.
AMA Edit: Edited my belief portion as my wording made it seem like Jesus isn't God but only the son of God and not God himself.
UPDATE Been MIA had life things happen lol but I will get around to answering everyone points when available
