I know I am a fairly new compared to some (1,000 day old player) but I thought that I would run this idea by you all.
I believe there would be some merit in adding an active player leaderboard toggle. Removing players that have not logged in, in over 100 days (or several toggles as suggested by Santiims). This way we can pour through all of the leaderboards and see where we stand currently, with active players.
I was taught when I first started to level hold until your rank was close to your stats so that you were not an easy target. That thought has gone to the wayside and life is now considered the 5th stat.
I believe that a lot of us enjoy looking at stats and knowing where we stand. I know I enjoy looking in the hall of fame from time to time as well.
I believe being able to compare yourself with the current game and environment would spice it up a little bit. Giving the game back its competitive edge.
This is the same as every sport out there. The HOF has its purpose, but the current season stats are important in many ways as well.
Give it some thought and let's bring some competition and meaning back to the numbers.
First off, Noone asked me to do this. I am posting this on my own accord.
Second, I am very picky. I expect a lot from my faction and it's leaders. That is because I like to give a lot of effort.
This is not an easy laid back faction that you can just sit on your back side and reap the rewards.
In this faction, we work as a single unit. Everything we do is for the betterment of us all. We earn and learn together.
We get upset sometimes, we talk it through and become stronger for it.
We have a council, a team that discusses the faction and what needs to be done for the betterment of all.
There is a reason we have 70+ show up for a push. Because that is what is expected and that is what it takes. We don't negotiate terms before a war. We will give you everything and then some during the war.
During off time, we laugh and make fun of each other. We help each other grow and get better.
I have found myself in a family. And that is exactly what I was looking for. So before you hit the request to join button, ask yourself that question. Are you the right fit for this team. This family? Do you deserve to be a Xenonite?
It's not that you can't have an off weekend. I missed alot of Maol because I went to a NHL game. I did make it back for our epic push. The one everyone is talking about. Not because we were going to win, but because it was a learning opportunity. A chance for us to grow. To do better in the next war.
If you feel like you want to be recognized for your efforts and that you matter to your family. Then this may be the place for you.
But don't say you didn't know what was expected.
