So I was on today right when CT went live. I found 3-5 bags of candy, 2 nice energy drinks, then a couple more bottles of Minty booze.
Somehow I got the impression there would be a lot more loot around from the stuff I read.

I figured I needed to get my item spawn % up, so I spent the next many hours getting all but 2 of the snow globe ornaments from story maps (this is my first year).

But I notice after that first little cluster of presents being found 18 hours ago, Ive found almost nothing since then, but I remember reading that there was a loot spawning timer (about 20 min) and after that stuff wouldnt spawn for maybe 6-8 hours? Is this still the case? Or was it ever? Haha...

Because for 18 hours now Ive been through every story map, wandered some other "LOOT" maps, gave up and flew to the UK while I made dinner IRL.. came back and played games (the day reset), and found one bag of tootsies, the rest of the stuff I got was from Santa and wheel spinning etc.

My item spawn chance is at 24% right now, I guess im wondering what im doing wrong, or if I just drastically misunderstood what kind of loot to expect.... how did your guys day go? Did you find steady stream of stuff, or clusters in 6 hour intervals? or something else? Any keys? Want to trade for my tootsie rolls?

I wish I didnt spend like 7 hours getting all those snow globes. God that was rough haha, moving so slow.

And I do have the CT helper with tampermonkey btw. So I kept an eye on that and never saw anything.

I am willing to do short term contracts, but am looking to be trained for several months total. I am willing to be very flexible on how many trains per day/ train schedule if for example you want to give your actual employees some trains occasionally or something like that...


I do use Xanax but I will promise you to never let my company addiction be a problem. I am very active and reliable - rehab will be a priority over any other travel. Just for the sake of giving you peace of mind, if for some reason I let my addiction slip and it negatively impacts your company I will compensate you handsomely (because youre so handsome).

Im sure many of you have flown out of Torn and the second you pressed "Leave" you remembered that thing you needed to do...
It would be nice to be able to turn the plane around if youre only something like 1/4th the way there. Now that I think about it, im paying a private pilot, a private plane, on my own private runway... why cant I tell the pilot to turn around? Or change destination? He works for me damnit. Its not like im flying coach or something

This is a true story btw.

So I've been reading a few different racing guides and I'm left confused on one specific thing, of course the one thing I actually wanted to know most.

When it comes to grinding your racing skill, it's said you should do docks 100 laps because more time spent racing = more racing xp.

So, does that mean if I do 100 laps in a stock class E, I will ge more skill gain than if I were to do 100 laps in an upgraded class A Car? Because the stock class E will take much longer to complete the laps, therefore, more skill gain?
Or is a 100 lap dock race going to yield the same results regardless of what car I use?

I want to pick the most efficient races before bed.. During the day I just do the official races. But at night, Im setting up custom long races.
I'm trying to determine which type of car I should be using, and what type of car I should require other racers to use.

Hey guys, I know bronze chests can be a little tricky to find sometimes, since the bronze keys are most common usually the chest naps only have silver and gold chests available.

Well, I found one in the Christmas Town main map. It's at 144, 14.
If you begin on the road right north of the first aid station, head east, turn south the first chance you get (main paved road) and follow that main road south, then follow it as it turns to the east, then it goes back to the north. At the very end of that road you'll see the chest.

Is there anyway to get the Christmas Town helper script working in torn PDA?
Or does someone have a Christmas town helper script they can copy and send me to use (one that works in torn PDA). I'll send you a few million dollars for your time.

Someone in my faction said to do this:

I've tried this but it's not working. I've added it immediately after the header, I've made it the line under the header etc.

Im glad its not just me... I stayed up all night and was grinding away through the afternoon for those ornaments and trying to wait for loot timers to run out etc etc but then nothing...

I was curious why ANARCHIA [2632824] came thru and disliked all our stuff, not sure what upset the fella so much, then I see his enemy list and his posting history, the guy is clearly very unhappy IRL.


But anyway, this was my first year so I didnt have anything to really go on except what other people had told me.
Seems strange though because if this was widespread I would think a lot more people would be saying something about it ya know?

Ive barely gotten any loot drops today. I spent many many hours today getting all but 2 of the snow globe story map ornaments. Then had time to nap, take a flight to UK, came back, and still loot isnt spawning.
I found 4-5 bags of candy earlier, couple cans of energy drinks.. then everything just stopped and its been 18 hours. Still nothing will spawn when i load in and walk around.
I kinda got myself hyped up reading other people talk about CT and making tons of money, I wish I hadnt ha

I'd put it this way, you probably shouldnt expect to find one.

Do keys spawn the same way chests do? Where everyone can see them? And you can find them even though presents aren't spawning for you on the map?

Or are keys like presents?

Ornament shop? Ive tried googling that, cant even find anything about it. sometimes google is worthless for me and idk why.. where is the ornament shop?

I cant find anywhere which specifies where and how to get a boost to speed. Ive tried asking, i went into the gift shop looking for things that boost speed, the snowglobes from maps all seem to be item drop chances... Is there a way to buy speed upgrade? I thought I read that you could, now I cant find it anywhere

It'd be nice to be able to pay in advance.. If the current amount due is 500$ for example, you could simply pay 500,000$, and it would just make a credit and every day automatically take the payment from that credit.
Its not a huge deal, it's nice that you don't suffer any debuff if you don't pay upkeep for a while, that helps, but for those of us who get bothered by small things like that it would be nice to just set it and forget it...
Got a 100 day lease, pay it all upfront, imagine paying all 100 days of upkeep upfront and just not having to think about it again until 98 days when you get an offer extension or a msg from torn warning about lease ending.

I did 300000 multiplied by 30 and got 9 million. I read it as 900k, obviously I misread a 0.

Well i know that haha, I am nowhere close. Im just trying to map out the best jobs with best incomes, then plan my job path accordingly. start buying the right training for the right stats, then make job changes moving up to better and better income sources.

I was trying to first figure out the ranking for most income, for any level stats..... avg salary (or higher end salaries ppl get with good stats), job perks, anything...
put them in an ordered list then ask around and dtermine what kind of stats their directors look for.

then (continue) buying trains and working my way up that list.. right now m plan was to keep grinding my endurance and get my manual up, maybe get myself into a ten star grocery joint with 25k endurance, 12k manual...

from there perhaps work my way up towards a 10 star LS...

then eventually the oil rig way down the line.

I am looking at jobs which give the best income from their perks, or even expected salary. If anyone can share some wisdom about where they think the most money can be made Id appreciate it.. So far Ive read/been told Adult Novelty, Oil Rigs and Grocery Stores, so these so far seem to be the top 3.

Im relatively new player, and trying to plan my career path aiming for NW building.

It seems like 10 star Oil Rig is a front runner, with the extra 1 billion investment and being able to reduce the bank investment time with your job points..
Grocery Stores suprised me with how much I hear people can make from the energy drinks.. ive heard an avg of 2.5 million per day is possible (assuming you sell at the best times for highest prices).
AN for the 3.3 million DVDs you can get.

10 star LS gives free upkeep on properties which can save you around 9 M per month, and allows you to bring more imports to Torn. Ive done very basic math but assuming youre just running camels... without the Business class travel you can do 2 trips to the UAE in 12 hour day (without waking up in the middle of the night to fly back etc). With Business class you can do 4 trips, selling at 98k a piece, thats an extra 4.8 mil a day. Plus the extra 2 item cap, again assuming 4 trips per day for camels and 98k price, gives an extra 20 mil a month.

This puts LS 10 star I believe in number 1 position if youre an active flyer, the potential extra income is insane.


Right now im at a 8 star AN, my working stats are mediocre at best. Im currently buying trains. ENDURANCE 17,500. INTELLIGENCE 10,000. MANUAL 5,700.
Im trying to map out my next best job to increase my income potential ASAP. I do already have the full 2 billion in the bank, along with an extra 1 billion I could remove from my stock BBs, along with maxxed out bank merits.
I do also fly all day still, so I could definitely benefit from a 10 star LS.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated
