Asking for a revive in General Discussion isn't a wise option - its the wrong area so people will likely respond negatively.
Nothing happens once you are in the hospital, you can't die in Torn, you just have to wait out your time.
Or of course, get revived (asking for a freevive in Trade Chat is a better option) or by using some form of medical item.

Newb vs Noob:
A newb/newbie is a beginner to Torn, willing to learn, might ask for information but not for handouts. Wants to get better on their own efforts, appreciative & willing to be patient.
A n00b is a derisive term for someone who is not only inexperienced but also unwilling to learn/put in their own effort. They often acting foolishly by begging or expecting handouts from strangers.
They carry different connotations, the core distinction being attitude.
Be a newb, not a noob.

When you get cold called for job offers & faction offers repeatedly, it gets old quick.
Sure he could have been nicer - but you also could have been wiser & more polite.
I see a completely normal Torn interaction, nothing noteworthy.
Torn City is interesting to me in the sense it grew, similar to a small village growing into a sprawling metropolis. Torn has had its share of growing pains, inflation issues, community relations, controversy, etc.
While a unique idea to have a mediator - I agree with those saying it isn't realistic/necessary, I also maintain the unpopular opinion that staff are just people and can make mistakes.
Chedburn has come a long way in professionalism & this version of Staff contains faaaaaar less power abuse then earlier versions. Of course I don't agree with every decision made but I can usually understand WHY, and that is a huge step in the right direction to me!
Welcome to Torn! Reading the wiki & the tutorial & guide forum will explain any area you have questions about. Finding a faction will find you a place for buddies & mentors, best of luck!
