The short answer is that they don't vary a whole lot (standard deviation of $75.41 calculated over 6 days) but there is a dip from TCT 10:00 to 15:00, so if you're pinching pennies, look for your deals during that time. The most expensive time is around TCT 18:00 to 23:00, other times stay closer to the 24h mean price.
For 6 days I used the API to record the lowest displayed price on the points market, checking every 5 second and only recording the value if there was a change. The times were binned into the nearest hour (+/- a half hour). I subtracted the mean of the nearest 24h period around each data point to eliminate long term price fluctuations.
Go to the real estate agent and rent a cheap property with ~1000+ happy. Without happiness your time at the gym will be wasted. Look around, you can often find rentals of mansions, ranches, palaces, and castles for a few thousand bucks, basically free.

Join the education job as soon as possible. Once you make principal you'll get 10% off education course time permanently and you can leave the job for a player run company that pays $300k-$2M a day in salary+benefits. Along the way to principal you'll get job points that increase your working stats and make you a good fit for a highly ranked company with lots of benefits. If you don't have the stats to join the education job go do a few courses at the college, start with intravenous therapy, it'll help for the next bit of advice.

Find high-experience targets at Baldr's Leveling List (https://oran.pw/baldrstargets/). Build your experience to level 15, train at the gym only enough that you can handle targets listed there, put all the rest of your energy into attacks until you make level 15 and can fly (and thus make real money).

Make your first few million on crimes. Most crimes have one-time unique items. A unique is available when a * is on the button in crimes. Pickpocketing is a great start, the unique items from the Postal Worker, Jogger, and Rich Kid are worth nearly $3M combined (wait for skill level 20+ for the rich kid, he's hard). When you fail a crime do a few other easy crimes, you do get "demoralized" after a failure and more likely to fail again if you try something hard. Smoke cannabis and drink beer for extra nerve, it pays for itself (1 nerve averages $1k to $5k in most crimes).

When you make level 15 you can earn 500k-1.5M per 4h round trip flight. To do this you need a private island (PI) with airstrip. The minimum cost is $300k/day rental + $100k/day maintenance. $400k/day turns into a few million a day, it's worth it. Save money by asking around for a roommate, you can share the cost of the PI by marrying someone, jump on the bandwagon, everyone's doing it!

There's lots more that you'll pick up along the way, but those tips are minimum you need to get to making a few million a day.
I have a pretty green crew in a 1* company which would benefit from more director trains. I'd sacrifice some sales in the short term for more trains to get EE up, but it's not clear to me if assigning 2 HR officers would have any effect?

There's a fair bit of randomness in people's experience. For me this happened in forgery. It has a lot to do with getting demoralized after failure. Switch back to some easy crimes after failure to clear the demoralized state and come back later. Once I did that with forgery it went great. I've heard both sides on burglary too. If you got lucky and got on a winning streak early your likely to continue winning, if you got unlucky and on a losing streak you're likely to continue losing.

Old thread, but it's coming up on google for "nudist title" so I'll clarify a detail that was missed, you have a rank and a title. Your rank is calculated by # crimes, networth, and battle stats and increases as you go. Each title has a metric and it is comparison against everyone else. So for each title there's a metric associated with it (nudist = # unarmored fights), and you get ranked by percentile in each. The title shown is the metric you have the highest percentile across all metrics/titles. The metrics used for title is calculated over a rolling 2 week window, and it will only change once in 7 days.
So you'll remain a nudist until some other metric ranks higher in percentile than you have with nudist over the previous 2 weeks. It doesn't matter if you put on armor, you still have 2 unarmored attacks and that won't reduce and you'll hold the same percentile rank with those 2 unarmored attacks. Once you drink enough beer (Alcoholic title) or place enough bounties (Egotist title), etc., and gain a higher percentile rank than you have in unarmored fights you'll switch titles (which update once a day).
By the way, congrats on getting enough upvotes that this thread got highlighted on the news ticker. Your scammer is going to be hospitalized for quite a while I suspect.
It makes me think... Wouldn't it be awesome if there were some missions where you actually had to send out an attempt to scam people? It would simultaneously teach the lesson and be completely hilarious.
Use chatgpt or gemini these days, it's great at editing scripts that aren't more than a few hundred lines long. You can typically do without knowing a lick of code, just give it the current code and tell it what to do. Then try it out and tell it what to fix. A little back and forth giving it error messages you find along the way and you should have it.
