I like playing poker on Torn, but since the tables are quite slow and you can only play one table, I prefer doing other stuff while playing. I tried enabling sounds to know when it's my turn, but there are just too many unnecessary sounds.
This little script lets you play without being interrupted by unnecessary sounds—except for the crucial one, signaling when it's your turn. You can access the script here: https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/485521-torn-poker-sound
It's the first script I've published for Torn :-)
Hope it helps. If something isn't working, just drop me a message.
Since many poker players frequent this forum, I wanted to share a small script I've developed to enhance your desktop poker experience. The script effectively mutes all sounds except for the alert when it's your turn:
This marks the initial version, addressing the one sound feature that numerous forum users have requested. I have plans to introduce advanced settings, allowing users to enable specific sounds, customize them, and more.
I've crossposted here as I believe this is the better place to gather feedback. Are there any additional comfort features you'd like to see in the poker script? I'm starting with enhancing sound options but could explore other additions in the future.
I've just started with Torn and wanted to explore its API. I've built a trading application that allows you to select items to monitor their market prices (Bazaar & Item Market). These items are highlighted when their prices fall below your target price. Additionally, I've implemented a feature that automatically opens the tab where you can purchase the item below the target price.
[image: i.imgur.com] As a newcomer, I'm unsure if something like this already exists or if it could be of interest to traders or the community. Furthermore I'm not experienced in trading in Torn, mainly because I can't afford it ?
I would greatly appreciate your feedback, including any links to existing tools, and your thoughts on whether such an application has potential. If you believe it does, I'd also welcome suggestions for features you'd like to see.
I've developed this over the past few hours, so it's currently a prototype and not stable enough for public release. However, I thought I'd inquire to see if something similar already exists or if there are specific needs for such a tool, to determine if it's worth investing more time into.
@JANI: There are instructions on greasyfork on how to install a script manager for the browser you are using. You can find them here: https://greasyfork.org/en
@ShadowySigma: Thanks for answering the question!
Adding a bit more to your answer:
Those are the name of the sounds you can add to the if statement:
I'm thinking about building a whole QoL script for poker including custom buttons, more sound / signaling features, custom views etc. but that will need some more time in the future :-)
I'll look through the poker forum, but if anyone has anymore feature ideas just write me a message or post them here.
