Hello all, I'm pretty new here but have unlocked the cracking crimes. I'm trying to get my levels up so I can unlock the rig, but it's been hard since I have a high rate of failure when brute forcing. Is there any tips on how you can get better at it or just need to go with the suck until I can unlock the rig?
I get that when you have some characters you can try guessing the password which is not too difficult, but getting the first 3/4 characters takes me ages haha
I’ve been enjoying the game if you ignore the microtransactions since you don’t actually need them in game just need to grind.
But there are some things that are rather annoying: - single save without the possibility to get back to a previous point in time unless you keep sleeping at inns - weird quests that make you trespass in the first big city that makes everyone start attacking you on sight - mages take for ever to do an attack and at lvl 13 they aren’t that strong imo - my lvl 5 rogue is way better at damage dealing - but it’s fun to play a healer. - huge world but not a lot of quests in the beginning
A couple of cool things that I’ve been enjoying: - the world is pretty cool and nice to ezplore - I enjoy the vocations and being able to change them and give them a try - seems like they also help with your overall stats - pawns help you with finding stuff or quests - you can replace your pawns and build various combinations of party - your own main pawn can venture and gain items and experience
I actually started a new save by removing the files but seems stupid that you need to do that - did it mostly because the trespassing quests made it impossible to even just leave the main city without hanging EVERYONE attacking me lol
Haha yeah to be fair in nullsec we had always stuff to do specially as a logi pilot, but on those dead days I would get my gallente character and let the drones do the killing of all npcs haha I think the amount of money I got vs the amount of money I blew up never really balanced it out but I never really cared much about it.
Dang this is making me want to go back to Eve
I think the hardest part is that I left all my stuff in nullsec and I'm not even sure if PH are still in that section or not so it's likely all my shit is scattered around the universe
Dang I used to play a long time ago and used to get back to it from time to time but it’s been almost 7 years since I lost played it was fun but can’t handle the grind as much
I even had a logibro that one was pretty fun to play when we were doing some stuff in pandemic horde
I’m playing it but not constantly as I’m starting to find the grind very repetitive. Yesterday was able to get the lvl 5 dps ship which looks nice but haven’t done much with it yet
Oh okay thank you very much for the help, I read the guide but was confused I assumed that with 2.0 each crime had it's own individual experience bucket and it wasn't a global one but makes a lot of sense! I'll go back bootlegging then haha

I’ve been playing it from time to time it’s fun but wish you could move the camera feels a bit awkward to have the camera so close to your ass. I tried to tweak pov in settings but didn’t see any changes really
