I am making this post not to get any sympathy from anyone. This is just a heads up to anyone that comes across this person.
We have had this person in a faction from pretty much the start. He has attacked and done what he needed to do with the bare minimum being put in on his part. Well, we decided after one of our wars that we would be moving to another faction to go train in for a few weeks. I extended the offer out to everyone in our faction including him. He declined saying he would be staying in our faction even though it was needed cause our faction was his home with his family. Well after 2 weeks we decided to come back to our faction cause the game just wasn't the same for us.
After coming back, I promoted the 2 people that stayed with our co-leader during our outing. He had access to fund before and never had an issue. After we came back, he felt as if he was entitled to something for holding down the fort even though he was AFK for 7 out of 14 days we were gone.
So, after our last RW we had. I did payouts as normal then noticed that he made quite the hefty withdrawal against our faction's funds! He decided 2.145B was his now cause of all his energy and effort he has put in. (which has been damn near 0) So I thought at first must of been a miss click. Hell, I've done it before. so, I went to message him asking what's going on and realized he had blocked me and our whole faction.
I attacked and mugged him for $3 and realized he had stored it elsewhere. So, I just kept attacking and hospitalizing him until I got an answer back. After this he finally unblocks me and claims he's dealing with IRL stuff (deaths etc...). So, me being a human being I tried to reason with him saying I understand life happens and I'm sorry but try and make this right. You know what you did.
Well after 5 days of waiting he is deciding that he is no longer going to send our money back that he would rather rob everyone he has grown with and his family he claimed. Now saying it's no big deal to him it's just a game. I understand it's a game and in fact it's a crime-based game but for this to happen is unacceptable and he has no place in the game.
I have already liquidated my assets to pay my family back for his crimes. But he needs to not get off the hook so easy. So, this is a just a heads-up message to anyone that has or hasn't dealed with this is the past. They are still snakes everywhere and make sure you know who you are giving access to.
I know I will get hate for this saying "well you gave him access" I understand what I did fully and have payed for my mistakes.

For smaller factions, flying isn’t always about evading war—it’s about surviving it.
Ranked wars are often unbalanced matchups, where high-stat factions can pressure lower-tier ones into surrender or farming, just because they can. For these factions, flying becomes one of the only tools available to slow down the pressure and regroup. Take that away completely, and you’re not creating better wars—you’re just giving the stronger side a bigger advantage.
Ranked wars should be competitive—but they also need to be fair. If flying is the only defense against stat-bullying, removing it just reinforces imbalances. Let’s push for changes that reward engagement, not domination.

Just going to throw my two cents out here. Have been playing Torn for a little over 400 days now. Have not been around for quite a bit of the stuff that most of you have probably gone through or seen.
I started as most probably have, joined a faction, stumbled through what I was supposed to be doing daily, getting hundreds of messages about joining jobs, factions, etc…
After joining a faction with a bunch of IRL friends(that we got started). We realized soon after that wasn’t for us. We wanted to create and build a home for us and anyone else we stumble across on our journey through this new game to us.
So we created our faction/home. First little bit through torn as a new faction was rough. Getting told to “lay down” for war cause some outside big boy faction wants us to term a war. We had no idea what that meant. Figured out pretty quick that wasn’t for us.
We will never term a war again no matter how bad the odds are stacked up against. We have won wars that we should have lost. The other faction had 9 people all over the Billion stat range. No of us were even close to break 50M by that time. That wasn’t the first and won’t be the last. We enjoy the grind and the hustle to try and build our home from the ground up and try to win we all odds are stacked against us.
We could be like all be like every other faction that starts in a new faction then end up selling it to upgrade. But that takes the fun and grind out of it.
A lot of us come from playing other games. In almost every other game that has a ranked match making system no of them are even close to being good. You’ll be getting paired against some crazy team that shouldn’t even be considered to be on the roster.
We can all agree that something needs to happen soon or it will continue down the road of no return. Sorry this might be off topic from your original post but just thought I throw my experience so far out there which probably doesn’t mean much to most.

No it was not all of our money, but we did just finish a RW payout and a few of our members were waiting for that to restart their bank investments.
It’s my fault I always try to see the best in people. People are human and make mistakes. But this isn’t just a little mistake it was made intentionally to try and hurt/cripple us, but it didn’t. I understand 2 Billion isn’t a lot to some people. But to our new faction full of new members it was a chunk of change.
At the end of the day we make mistakes, the only issue is if we don’t learn from those said mistakes. I’ve learned from mine and hopefully just trying to make awareness for newer or older factions, to try and make this not happen again to anyone. It’s not about the amount of money it’s about the principle.
We can all say he wasn’t smart enough to stick it out for the long term and really make a heist. But it does suck it happened. We will continue to grow and improve everyday.
We are a bunch of new Torn players, and it’s hard to filter through 20 years of knowledge from Thousands of people. But we are doing our best.
