The VR Audit: A $10 Billion Lesson on Why You Don't Bully the Wrong Person · · 467 likes

To the Torn Community:

My name is J3T. For nearly 750 days, across two iterations of Violent Resolution, I have been a loyal contributor, and a part of the leadership. But today, I’m revealing the truth: I’ve been an infiltrator since the day we met.

I. The Origin: Extortion and Ego

Many of you know Dsla for what you read about in forums, but I know him for who he really is. We met when he buy-mugged me, bullied me, and demanded I hand over Boxing Gloves as protection money so he wouldn't bother me.

He thought he had found a victim. Instead, he found the person who would eventually dismantle his reputation. I played the part, I fed his ego, and I waited for the right moment to perform a full audit of his character.

II. The $10 Billion Ghost Ledger

While members were told the faction was strong, I was watching the books rot from the inside.

Dsla has been using a Static Debt Illusion. By keeping his balance at a permanent, massive negative (currently -$3.47 Billion), he hides the movement of money. He’s been using the members deposits as a revolving personal bank account, gambling that you’d never notice the skimming as long as the number stayed red. He hid the deficit by manually adjusting the ledger to make a bankrupt faction look solvent.

III. The Karma Tax

We all remember the Harrywho article. We know the history of trade scamming and the recent "spineless" mugging of greenleaf healers in the WTF conflict. Dsla has spent his career believing he could scam and bully his way to the top without consequence.

Today, the bill is due.

I have withdrawn the remaining $5,713,845,998

This isn't a vault theft; it’s a Liquidation Fee for the two years I spent watching a fraud run a faction into the ground. It is the literal price of your own hubris, Dsla. As a final sign of accountability: I have already sent $200,000,000 of my own personal funds to the WTF Ducks to help fund the consequences you were too cowardly to deal with yourself

IV. Final Note

To VR members: I know this is aggravating, and that you are mad. I would be too if I found out my leader scammed me too. Dsla is going to have to do some community service - he is hereby sentenced for the crime of fraud..

To Dsla: You have an 87-billion-dollar net worth. Use some of it to fund your faction properly, and make your faction whole again.

To the victims of Dsla: i will be setting up a Class Action Settlement fund for victims once the heat dies down. It isn't going to be much but I will try to help you recover some money. Details will come as soon as it safe.

Be more careful next time, scammer. I hope you enjoy the feeling.

J3T

Edit: I probably should have posted this - as i mentioned Dsla is holding 3.47bn, here are the other culprits. Also if you go back to the graph this is not borrowing cash, this is long term play money, and a debt to the members that keeps growing.

If these were loans there would be an effort to pay them back, instead you have the ever increasing negative faction balance and virtually no attempts to pay back since the conception of this second iteration of VR in January 2025.

EDIT: WTF returned the donation I gave to them.

Edit: I’ve seen the upvotes, the theories, and the good guy comments. But before the curtain falls on this account for good, you need to see how the "big guy" actually operates when the mask is off.

I returned the funds. But make no mistake: I didn’t do it because I felt guilty or because the heat was too high. I did it to conduct one final, clinical audit of a prolific scammer’s integrity. I knew he’d already replaced the stolen money from his own pocket to keep the peace, which meant the members were safe. That left only one thing left to test: how far he’d go to buy back a fake reputation.

As the receipts show, he wasn’t just willing to conspire on a fake narrative; he was grateful for it. He bought my ruse of an "orchestration to rescue his rep" hook, line, and sinker. He was willing to become a co-conspirator in a lie just to look like a hero again.

He agreed to every scenario I offered notorious or victim as long as I took the lead, took the heat, and protected his image. In the logs, you see him wrestling with the morality, pivoting between the Faction Vault and a private Company Vault, before finally landing on the immoral choice: a clandestine conspiracy to follow his own infiltrator’s lead.

He turned into a compliant subordinate the moment I offered to prop him up. He was so desperate for a manufactured hero arc that he was thanking me while I was preparing this final nail for his coffin.

This isn't the behavior of a mastermind. He’s a man who would rather take orders from his own thief than face this community with the truth. I don’t need his money, and he clearly doesn’t have the character to lead his own narrative.

For 813 days, I played a character. I watched the books rot, I watched the ego grow, and I watched the people in the middle get used as shields. To the members of VR, you weren't my targets. You were the witnesses to a long-term study on what happens when a leader forgets that untouchable is a temporary status.

I walked away with the truth. I proved that no matter how high your net worth is, you can still be bankrupt in the only currency that actually matters in a social game: integrity.

The score is settled. The paper tiger has been exposed, my mission is complete.

J3T is signing off permanently but make no mistake Torn City - the cycle will repeat, I'll be back and we will be right back where we are right now.

J3T's tryna sleep here:

J3T told the city he was done, but he won’t let some scamtard take a shit on his name while he tries to sleep.

Amidst the praise, the salutes, and the based tips, a flicker of pity for the few times the leader actually acted like a good citizen began to override the plan. J3T pivoted, crafting a secondary plan with two endings a dual-trap designed specifically for an ego this massive. The leader fell for the first trap with 100% buy-in on the false flag narrative, but when he ghosted J3T, he revealed himself as the mother of all snakes. J3T posted the chat, yet the human behind the mask still felt enough pity to Gemini a story that matched the victim narrative he’d promised. Then, as the most pathetic citizens of Torn do, the Dsla decided to nuke the deal.

That was the final mistake. The trade log shows J3T telling him to his face it was pure victim framing a lie about a lie about a lie so layered that the leader didn't know which fake truth he was buying, only that he was desperate for the shield. He was so eager for that shield that he accepted a trade **200 million short** and handed back a Guandao for a script he knew was fraudulent. He paid a 200-million-dollar ego tax and a weapon for a nursery rhyme.

Thor sends $1 messages begging the ghost to stop logging in because the inner circle is terrified of the fly on the wall, but the fine citizens are sending $69 tips, and go J3T go messages to my inbox because they recognize Dsla and VR's skill issue. J3T never wanted the money; he wanted max collateral damage for a bully on his way to the exit.

Mission accomplished!

Due to the mechanics of reopening an account J3T is stuck in this farkakte city for another 24h, after which the fly is leaving the wall for the long term.

Leslie's Freakshow What was the Point of Rules? · · 99 likes

Alright, I just need to get this off my chest. I’m seriously disappointed with how the Leslie’s Freakshow contest turned out. The rules were super clear—no human poop, no dead dog lungs, no mayonnaise—and the idea was to get creative without relying on gross-out stuff. So I spent time coming up with something unique and followed the guidelines like a lot of others did.

But then the winners get announced, and what do I see? 2nd place used mayonnaise, and 3rd place used mock poop. Are you kidding me? Leslie literally said that stuff wouldn’t impress him, and yet they’re handing out top spots to people who broke the rules! It’s like the organizers didn’t even care about what they laid out.

I’m not salty about losing—it’s the fact that so many of us put in effort to follow the rules, got creative, and came up with cool ideas, only to see entries win that should’ve been disqualified. It feels like all that effort was for nothing. What’s the point of having rules if they’re not going to follow them?

If poop and mayo were fair game, just say so from the start! It’s super frustrating and honestly discouraging when you see rule-breakers getting rewarded. It’s hard to take this kind of thing seriously after that.

Anyway, am I the only one feeling this way? I can’t be the only person who’s disappointed with how this was handled.

Edit: i did place top 10 and received a paper bag but it doesn't take away from the fact that two of the three winners did not fit into the guidelines

Fixing OC 2.0 Bottlenecks · · 31 likes

TL;DR: Revert OC 2.0 to Leader-assigned roles. Add "Inactivity (2-3 days)" to the existing auto-initiation blockers (Jail/Hosp/Travel) to satisfy activity requirements without the administrative bottleneck.

The Concept

Revert OC 2.0 role assignments to the Leadership-controlled model of v1. To address the developers' goal of ensuring player activity, simply add "Inactivity" to the existing list of auto-initiation blockers.

How it works:

Currently, an OC will not auto-initiate if a member is in jail, the hospital, or traveling. This proposal adds a fourth check: Activity.

  • Leadership Assignment: Leaders assign roles (removing the bottleneck of waiting for members to "pick" a role).
  • The Activity Gate: If any assigned member has been inactive for more than 48–72 hours, the OC will not initiate.
  • The Result: This achieves the "activity requirement" the devs want without the administrative headache of the current manual selection system.

Why this is better:

  • Consistency: It uses the same logic already in place for Hospital/Jail/Travel status.
  • Reduced Friction: Factions stop losing hours or days waiting for a member to click a button just to prove they exist.
  • True Accountability: If a player is inactive, the Leader can see the "Inactivity Gate" is the holdup and swap them out immediately for someone who is playing.

Interestingly there was a recent study that showed how saying Sorry is worse for a businesses reputation than just carrying on as usual.

Banned me? Here I am.

I made a mistake. I apologized to the staff, you and I laughed about it.

It is so comical to me that your only defense  to scamming your own faction is to call out an error that I was warned about and rectified.

This was good use of the system - in the CJS they call that rehabilitative justice, which is something that's clearly never worked for you.

🎵 A duck walked up to a lemonade stand

He said to the man, running the stand

"Hey, " bum, bum, bum, "got any grapes?"

The man said, "no, we just sell lemonade

But it's cold and it's fresh, and it's all home-made

Can I get you a glass?"

The duck said, "I'll pass"

Then he waddled away, waddle, waddle

'Til the very next day, bum, bum, bum, bum, bum, ba-dum 🎵
